Chris's parents are the reason he's like this. People told me we share so many of the same characteristics. But that's wrong. Besides, that was Encyclopedia Dramatica where I heard that, which likes to make fun of every autistic person no matter how good they actually are (though I've ran into some people who very well could be up there with Chris in terms of their history online, even sharing similar pasts with parents, including my former "friend" Chibiyima, who actually admires Chris and made me the way I was for a while) using rumors that aren't true, old posts they regret writing, etc. I had a relatively normal life. To all those speculating if losing this contest would've prevented any of this. I have serious doubts about that and if anything might've just contributed to him having even less initiative. I think most of CWCs problems stem back to his mother (from whence his' major personality flaws came, back to whom they've just now maleffected), the educational and pediatric system of the 80s/early 90s (with it's ignorance of ASD spectrum and the needs it entails), lack of proper guidance (especially on the internet), and a culture that has been slowly decaying decades before CWC himself was yet born, which fosters and facilitates at every level the worst possible vices of man.. This contest was only consequential I would think in that it inspired Chris's creativity (such as it was, unguided and undisciplined) and maybe a sense of being blessed (and thus, entitlement). Without the contest I would think CWC would still be incredibly lecherous, maybe moreso, now with an added excuse as to why life is unfair and thus not worth tackling at all. Though he might've at least done less stupid things in public, so maybe that would've been an improvement? I think the contest could've actually been a very positive factor in his life if again he had proper guidance. Something which really only Bob seems to have tried at least to foster. Bob to me comes off as the only innocent person here, if only because he tried, tried to raise Chris properly, tried to reason with Barb, tried to encourage Chris and have him pursue his artistic talents, tried to guide him both irl and even online when he felt it needed.. I feel the worst for him, Bob put up a reasonable fight, sadly he wouldn't even survive it..

The Chris Chan stuff is ultra distressing to me, because like... I grew up autistic, and even had the same exact speech patterns Chris is showing here when I was that age. I had the obsessiveness over video games and cartoon characters to the point it was a coping mechanism. My parents actually cared and put me on the right path, got me help and didn't enable bad stuff. I'm not perfect and still hold a lot of social awkwardness but Ive got an engineering degree under my belt, work a full time job and live independently. Chris is literally a case of "what I could have become if I had bad parents". Well... Not the whole 'fucking your own mom thing' but... Yeah... The whole thing fills me with dread and honestly I wonder how Chris would have made out in life if their parents weren't such deadbeats.
