Jews can pray in mosques because there are no statues, you cant pray in a classical church because of Idols but if the church has no idols you can pray in it. Problem is neither muslims nor christians will allow you to pray in there most of the time. Hay rabbi. Quran ch 3 verse 7 It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muḥammad], the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise - they are the foundation of the Book - and others unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allāh. But those firm in knowledge say, We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord. And no one will be reminded except those of understanding.

“In his legal opus Hayad Hachazaka, Maimonides states that thanks to both these religions ‘the world has become full of the ideas of the Messiah, the ideas of the Torah and the ideas of the commandments, so that these have spread to faraway islands and to many dim hearted nations, and they now discuss these ideas and the commandments of the Torah.’ “Nevertheless, Maimonides considers both Christians and Muslims to be heretics, mostly because of their various replacement doctrines regarding the Torah and the status of the Jewish nation…Both Islam and Christianity are far better than the pagan religions…” yet, “both of them are a far cry from the truth of God's only Torah”. “It is permitted to teach the commandments to Christians and to attract them to our religion, and it is not permitted to do the same with the Ishmaelites [i.e., the Arabs / Muslims]," he writes. “This is because the Christians never denied the authenticity of our Torah, they merely added their nonsense on top of it, but they and we believe both in the Torah's sanctity and in the fact that it is an accurate representation of the original Torah delivered to the Jews by God through Moses. “ The Muslims, on the other hand, even though their Koran describes the giving of the Torah to the Jews, they insist that in every point where their version differs from what's in our Torah, this is because we either made a mistake in copying our texts, or, worse, falsified our texts.

I think a great deal of the protestant connection to the story of israel in the bible belt in particular is the result of settlers having just this one book with them and relating the trials of Israel to their own experience settling a wild land. Hi, please read Russell Means autobiography. He was the Mohican in that still famous movie. He was 100% Lakota born on Pine Ridge and raised in L.A. Their history cannot be separated from ours. The Bible was used to justify everything. I began Native studies in 1999. Quite illuminating. The Oklahoma land grab that literally displaced Natives to literally watch settlers race by horse, wagon, and buggy when the gun went off. Remember the movie with Kidman and Cruise?

I have taken leaf out of his book and am starting my prayers that way now. It's really important. @belindamostert1125
@belindamostert1125 4 ай бұрын
@@bigdaddy7729 You may be surprised to learn that we have more in common with Jews than with Hindus. Lets start with Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth" There Is a Plural Noun Used With a Singular Verb ! A hint of the doctrine of the Trinity can be found in the first verse of the Bible. The Hebrew word for God is Elohim. Elohim is a plural noun but it is used here with a singular verb bara. In the remainder of the Old Testament, when Elohim speaks of the true God, it is always used with a singular verb. The conclusion to be drawn is that in some sense God is both singular and plural. The doctrine of the Trinity states this - within the nature of the one God there are three eternal persons. Then we look at Genesis 1:26 .. Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Let us make man in our image. The text does not specify the identity of the “us” mentioned here. Some have suggested that God may be addressing the members of his court, whom the OT elsewhere calls “sons of God” (e.g., Job 1:6) and the NT calls “angels,” but a significant objection is that man is not made in the image of angels, nor is there any indication that angels participated in the creation of human beings. Many Christians and some Jews have taken “us” to be God speaking to himself, since God alone does the making in Gen. 1:27. The words "let us" is used elsewhere of God speaking in Genesis. After Adam and Eve sinned the Bible records. Then the Lord God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever (Genesis 3:22). At the incident at the Tower of Babel we read God saying. Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another's speech (Genesis 11:7). Isaiah the prophet recorded God saying. Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Then I said, "Here am I. Send me" (Isaiah 6:8). There is another instance in the Isaiah where there is a second plural name for God. For your Maker is your husband, the LORD of hosts is his name; the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer, the God of the whole earth he is called (Isaiah 54:5). The word translated, "Maker" is plural in Hebrew. Therefore we have a second Hebrew word that is plural that is used of God. Other examples include ... Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in him (Psalm 2:12). Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and the name of his son? Tell me if you know! (Proverbs 30:4). For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).

In a conversation I had with a RC priest, he said very clearly that G-d's covenant with the Jews is still valid. He was (he's deceased) a very conservative priest and would certainly not have adopted such a view from any Protestant theology. I asked him that, if so, why would he be happy to convert a Jew? He answered that if there's something even better, why would he not offer it? My impression at the time was that this may have been part of Vatican ii, when they took out of their (Easter) liturgy the part about converting Jews (I may have the details of that wrong), but I don't remember if he said that. (The conversation happened many years ago.) Is that not part of RC theology today?

I was brought up as a Catholic. I was an altar boy for 7 years and I went to a Catholic school where I was taught by Marist brothers (like Jesuits). I never at any time heard a negative word about Jews or Israel. My doctor was Jewish. Practically all her life my mother worked in stores owned and run by Jews. Not even a scintilla of anti-Semitism. Nada. So I don't get it. What is all this vehement and aggressive pushback pushing back against? In my experience, nobody cares about these issues any more than the plight of the Zulus. That is, until the media pressures us to take sides. I'm still a Christian, and I don't care if people don't like that. I follow Jesus, the only teacher who said "love your enemies" AND who LIVED AND DIED loving his enemies - "he had done no violence" (Isaiah 53:9) Of course, the people of Israel WERE blessed (more than the Zulus :o) because (according to Paul of all people - yes! - Romans 1:16 "to the Jew first") God gave the Jews the absolute exclusive privilege of being at the front of the queue for selection as kings in Heaven in the Kingdom of God. So your attitude to Paul will have to change, my friends.

So, as for (the ones) in whose hearts is swerving, they ever follow whatever (parts) of it are cosimilar, (inequitably) seeking temptation (to sedition), and (inequitably) seeking its interpretation; and in no way does anyone know its interpretation except Allah. So good Rabbi Singer! I love listening to you! I love the land that you and Judah love! I’ve been there one time, and there is no place like it on earth! If i could live there I would. Tiberius was one of my favorite places! The group I was with even took some supplies to a Jewish military outpost on the border of Lebanon. What a beautiful place and even more beautiful people! I suppose you could call me a Zionist as well then. I do not consider myself a “Christian” as there is too much idolatry in the Christian church. I want to apologize for the way the early Christian church treated Judah. So much bloodshed on their hands. I am a believer in Y’shua, who keeps the 7th day Sabbath as He did. He was a Jew, and I want to follow His example. What do you think of Christians that are leaving the church and embracing the Hebrew roots of the faith??? Could it be, that these are the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel that were exiled around 700 B.C.? I wish I could ask you that question personally, but I haven’t gotten the courage to try and call in to Tenak Talk yet. LOL. It’s just that it’s happening all over the world right now! Matthew 5:17-20 changed my life for good, around the year 2000. Unlike the Christian Zionist that would try to convert Jews to Christianity, I would never do such a thing. It’s not my place to do any of that. I for one believe you have far more truth than the Christian church could ever hope for, and you do not enjoin yourselves to pagan practices. Sorry, that I wrote so much. Maybe one day I will get the courage to call. Bless you Rabbi Singer!

Hi Hadassah. The churches or, as you say, the "early Christian church" (what's your definition? when?) shed lots of blood, but that was a violation of Jesus' command (Jesus said "love your enemies"). Giving succour or supplies and encouraging ANY military people in ANY country is a violation of Christianity. So since 2000 years ago, all wars are over.

@@Mk-xw1yjThe Crusades, Pogroms, the Inquistions and even the Holocaust. It was a Christian war against Jews, and even Muslims with the Crusades. Read the Nicean Creed. The church has blood on its hands. It’s all throughout history. Constantine and his false vision of the cross and to go out in conquer. But as much as they tried to destroy Judah, they failed and they will never succeed. I am a believer in Y’shua, but I do not consider myself a “Christian.” The bloodshed may be over now, but the hatred remains. I remember several years ago, that the Lutheran (might have been Episcopalian… same stuff. LOL) wanted to boycott Israel. Anti-Semitism is alive and well and thrives in SOME Christian churches. Not all, but some. Blessings

Darby was not the first, you can find the same theology in the "early church fathers" in their writings in the first and second century. When the "church" was incorporated into the Roman Empire the change came and anyone who opposed Romanism (replacement theology) was executed. Darby must have actually read the writings of the "early church fathers". With the establishment of Israel in 1948 you have the beginning of the fulfillment of ancient prophecies found in the Tanach.

As Americans say, let's cut to the chase. God, Allah, Gott, Deus, Dieu, Dio, Dios, Bog, Khuda, Mungu, Eebe Who is The One(as in One in One) Trinitarian Christians mistakenly call "The Father of Jesus" Commanded that all people worship Him ONLY without associating partners with Him(e.g. Trinity) or worshipping other deities-Zeus, Apollo, Osiris, Baal, Hubal, Diana, Hanuman, Laat, Uzzat, Manaat etc. The First Submittees ONLY to God(Allah) or Muslims were Adam(pbuh) and Eve(Hawa-Gbph). All prophets of God(Allah) including Jesus(pbuh), Moses(pbuh), Abraham(pbuh) were Submittees ONLY to God without associating partners in worship with Him or worshipping other deities. Allah or God is The One Trinitarian Christians mistakenly call "The Father of Jesus". Allah is an Arabic/Semitic word that means God, Gott, Deus, Dio, Dios, Bog, Khuda, Mungu, Eebe etc. God(Allah) is One for all people.

Rabbi question. So if the written law is written by HASHEM, and it can not be changed. Why then has the oral law been changed, altered, and modified throughout the year, and still treated in the same level as the Torah? For example, you will get a Rabbi who will not allow people to convert, because of the Oral law. Yet in the Torah, it says The Jews are the example of my way and shall be an example for all the nations correct? Also, you have some Rabbi who disown select practices that have existed for centuries like Astrology? When Abraham was the father of Astrology. What do you think about these Rabbi?

I'm listening to u. My mum worked in jewish children's home we love u we believe u are still gods chosen people. Personally I don't want to upset u I think Christians share coz they care. What u say about the covenants is interesting in Hebrews written by Paul previously Saul some think... it says the law cannot annul the covenant first confirmed by God in christ... Jesus fulfilled not abolished the law why coz if u didn't keep them all u were cursed deut. It was broken as soon as Moses descended the mountain. Paul's writing is very much to do with the law and promise isaac Ishmael bond and free... divorced from law married to christ foreshadow of things to come Jesus came in fulness of time redeeming those in Abrahams bosom who died b4 he came. Isaiah 53 ppl say speaks of Jesus... I kind of feel quite jewish I pray ur prayers sing ur songs and want u to be my people I'm sorry for history of persecution even if jews wanted for me not to be allowed in israel I just want for u to be safe. I'm interested to learn more hebrew alphabet I know there are 5 things jews believe about moshiach and y it can't be Jesus but it confuses me coz Jesus say he was of root of Jesse.. line of David. There is difference of opinion as Mary was virgin Joseph not biological father. Interested to learn and debate but so sad when people get angry anger of mam cannot create righteousness of God I don't know much about jewish eschatology but yea I just want u to know we really do love u and I still believe u are so precious to God.

The term "the Written Torah" in a general sense refers to the whole body of the twenty-four Books of the Hebrew Bible. Its essence, however, is the Pentateuch, for it alone contains all of the Divine precepts, and nothing may be added and nothing may be subtracted from it. Even genuine prophets cannot alter anything in the Pentateuch. Indeed, all later prophets or prophecies are verified by their complete conformity to the Pentateuch. It is the ultimate criterion: the falsehood of a prophet or prophecy is established by even the slightest divergence from the original words of the Pentateuch.
