Christianity is declining not only in Kerala but it happens throughout the world. In western countries churches have been sold because of lack of people for worship. Christians either become atheists or liberalists or get converted to Islam. Trinity concept about God is still exist as puzzle for all.

Unlike Islam there is no concept of global "Ummah" or Khalifa is Christianity. Most the Pre-islamic churches are localized like Coptic Church in Egypt, the Assyrian Church, the Armenian Church, the Ethiopian Orthodox, the Persian Church, Antiochian church. Syrian Orthodox Church etc.While Islam rose as a single empire like Arab colonization in Middle east and then Asia. By this Islamic Arab forces could easily conquer and transform the ancient Middle East from a majority-Christian world to the majority-Muslim world we know today. Even today you can see remanents of Pre-Islamic Ancient churches in Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Jodan and even in Saudi Arabia.

Main difference of catholics and Pentecostal christians are that Pentecostal people do not perform idol or saint worship as it is against 2nd commandment.They do not make sculptures as it is prohibited in the Bible.

Yes.. Actually the first Christian family was a Brahmin family who converted by St Thomas the apostle.. So there are Brahmin converted Christians, other high caste hindus converted to Christianity, as well as lower castes hindus who got converted.. And also, converted inside the community itself.. That is catholics or orthodox or jacobites or marthomites or any other church members who converted to pentecosts.. There are also pentecostal people who converted to catholic, orthodox, jacobite, marthoma etc It all depends on the difference in believes.. Not actually a caste system.

കേരളത്തിലെ മാർത്തോമാ നസ്രാണികൾക്ക് ലോക ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ സമൂഹത്തിലെ മറ്റു ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ നിന്നും മാറ്റി നിർത്തുന്ന പ്രിത്യേകത എന്തു?.കേരളത്തിൽ ഉള്ള സുറിയാനി ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രേത്യേകത എന്ന് പറയുന്നത് അവർ പ്രാർഥനകൾക്ക് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന സുറിയാനി ഭാഷ തന്നെ ആണു. യേശു ക്രിസ്തു സംസാരിക്കാൻ ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന ആരാമായ ഭാഷയുടെ വകബേധം ആണു സുറിയാനി ഭാഷ.ലോകത്തു പ്രധാനമായും മൂന്നു രീതിയിൽ ഉള്ള പുരാതനമായി ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ പാരമ്പര്യം ഉണ്ട്. ലത്തീൻ പാരമ്പര്യം, ഗ്രീക്ക് പാരമ്പര്യം, സുറിയാനി പാരമ്പര്യം. ഇതിൽ സുറിയാനി പാരമ്പര്യം ഒരു കാലത്തു middle east ഇൽ വ്യാപകമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ ഭാഷ ആയിരുന്നു. ഇന്ന് സിറിയയിലും കേരളത്തിലും മാത്രമാണ് ഇത്തരം ക്രിസ്ത്യനികൾ ഉള്ളത്.നാമ മാത്രമായി ഇറാഖ്, തുർക്കി, lebanon തുടങ്ങിയ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലും ഉണ്ട്. കേരളത്തിൽ ഉള്ള സുറിയാനി ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വിശ്വാസികൾ പല സഭകൾക്ക് കീഴിൽ ആണു നിൽക്കുന്നത്. സിറോ മലബാർ (Rc), ഓർത്തഡോക്സ്, യാക്കോബായ, കൽദായ സഭ, മാർത്തോമാ തുടങ്ങിയവ ആണു അതിൽ പ്രധാനം. ആദ്യകാലത്തു 15 ആം നൂറ്റാണ്ട് വരെ കേരളത്തിൽ ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നത് കൽദായ സുറിയാനി അല്ലെങ്കിൽ കിഴക്കൻ സുറിയാനി ആയിരുന്നു. കാരണം ഇറാഖ് കേന്ദ്രികരിച്ചുള്ള കൽദായ സുറിയാനി സഭയും ആയി ആയിരുന്നു കേരളത്തിൽ ഉള്ള ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വിശ്വാസികൾക്ക് കോൺടാക്ട്. Ad 52 ഇൽ തോമാ സ്ലീഹാ ആണു കേരളത്തിൽ ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ സഭ സ്ഥാപിച്ചത് എന്നാണ് കേരളത്തിൽ ഉള്ള സുറിയാനി ക്രിസ്ത്യനികൾ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതിനെ സാധുകരിക്കുന്ന തെളിവുകൾ ഒന്നും ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും.3 ആം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിലൊ,5 ആം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിനുള്ളിലൊ കേരളത്തിൽ വ്യാപാരത്തിനു എത്തിയ middle eastern ക്രിസ്ത്യനികൾ വഴി കേരളത്തിൽ ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ മതം എത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. അകാലത്തു കേരളത്തിൽ കൊടുങ്ങല്ലൂരിലും മറ്റും വ്യാപാര ആവശ്യങ്ങൾക്കും മറ്റും എത്തിയ ഇറാഖ് സിറിയ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും എത്തിയ ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ കച്ചവടക്കാരിൽ നിന്നും ഒക്കെ ആണു ഇറാഖ് കേന്ദ്രികൃതമായ കൽദായ സുറിയാനി സഭയുമായി ബന്ധം ഉണ്ടാവുന്നത്. പിന്നീട് 15 ആം നൂറ്റാണ്ടോടെ പോർച്ചുഗീസ് കാരുടെ വരവോടെ റോം അസ്ഥാനമായ കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭയുടെ കീഴിലേക്ക് കേരളത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന സുറിയാനി ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വിശ്വാസികളെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. Rome അസ്ഥാനമായ കത്തോലിക്ക സഭ ലത്തീൻ പാരമ്പര്യം ഉള്ള സഭ ആയിരുന്നു. അതിലെ jesuit വൈദീകർ പതിയെ അവരുടെ രീതികൾ സുറിയാനി ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വിശ്വാസികളിൽ അടിച്ചു ഏല്പിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. അങ്ങനെ 1599 ജൂൺ മാസത്തിൽ കൂടിയ ചരിത്ര പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഉദയം പേരൂർ സുന്നഹാദോസിൽ വച്ചു കേരളത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന സുറിയാനി ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വിശ്വാസികളുടെ പല രേഖകളും താളിയോല ഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങളും കത്തിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞു.ഇതിൽ പ്രകോപിതരായ സുറിയാനി ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വിശ്വാസികൾ സിറിയയിൽ ഉള്ള ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് സഭയുടെ പത്രിയർക്കീസുമായി ബന്ധം സ്റ്റാപിക്കുന്നു.അങ്ങനെ സിറിയൻ സഭ അയച്ച അഹന്തുള്ള എന്ന bishop നെ ചെന്നൈയിൽ തുറമുഖത്തുനിന്നും പോർച്ചുഗീസ് തടവിൽ ആക്കുകയും പിന്നീട് ഗോവയിൽ വച്ചു കൊലപെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. (പോർച്ചുഗീസുകാർ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ കൊലപെടുത്തിയില്ല മറിച്ചു യൂറോപ്പിലേക്ക് നാട് കടത്തിയതാണ് എന്നും പറയുന്നു ). ഈ സംഭവം അറിഞ്ഞ കേരളത്തിൽ ഉള്ള സുറിയാനി ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വിശ്വാസികൾ മട്ടാഞ്ചേരിയിൽ ഒത്തുചേർന്നു. അവർ ഒരു വലിയ കൂരിശിൽ വടങ്ങൾ വലിച്ചു കെട്ടി അതിൽ തൊട്ട് പ്രതിജ്ഞ എടുത്തു. ഞങ്ങളോ ഞങ്ങളുടെ സന്തതി പരമ്പരകളോ കത്തോലിക്കാ വിശ്വാസത്തെയോ അംഗീകരിക്കില്ല എന്ന്.ഇത്‌ അറിഞ്ഞ പോപ്പ് അവരെ അനുനയിപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമങ്ങൾ നടത്തി.അതിനു ഒടുവിൽ കേരളത്തിൽ ഉള്ള സുറിയാനി ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വിശ്വാസികൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന കൽദായ സുറിയാനി പ്രാർത്ഥനകളും കുർബാനകളും മറ്റും ചെറിയ വ്യത്യാസങ്ങളോടെ അവർക്കു ഉപയോഗിക്കാൻ അനുമതി കൊടുത്തുഅങ്ങനെ അണ് കേരളത്തിൽ ഇന്ന് കാണുന്ന സിറോ മലബാർ കത്തോലിക്ക സഭ (Rc)ഉണ്ടാവുന്നത് . എന്നാൽ എല്ലാവരും ഇത്‌ അംഗീകരിക്കാൻ തയാറായില്ല. അംഗീകരിക്കാതിരുന്നവർ സിറിയയിൽ ഉള്ള ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് കാരുമായി ബന്ധം സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ ഇന്ന് കാണുന്ന യാക്കോബായ /ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് സഭ ഉണ്ടായി.syrian ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് സഭയുമായുള്ള ബന്ധത്തോടെ ആണു കേരളത്തിൽ Antioch യൻ സുറിയാനി അഥവാ west syriac വരുന്നത്.പിന്നീട് ഇതിൽ നിന്നും പിരിഞ്ഞു പോയതാണ് മാർത്തോമാ സഭ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതും ഇതേ west syriac ആണു. കേരളത്തിൽ ഉള്ള ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വിശ്വാസികളുടെ ദൈനം ദിന ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഉള്ള വാക്കുകളായ മാലാഖ, കുർബാന, മാമോദിസ, പെസഹാ തുടങ്ങിയവ ഒക്കെ സുറിയാനി വാക്കുകൾ ആണു.
