It’s important that people realise while ease doesn’t necessarily mean vocal quality, Christina shouldn’t just be regarded as a vocalist who strains. It’s extraordinary how she manages to belt this easily even her later years. It shows that despite her straining she has proven that her technique has indeed been sustainable after all and she continues to slay the game! Love the concept and great video 👍

It's not really extraordinary she sings like this still. I mean, it's her voice. But her voice is used to this through the years like... learning a foreign language, figure skating, gymnastics, baking, cooking. When you grow up doing something, you always kind of do that same thing, ya know?

She sang some of her best C#5s, D5s and Eb5s in 2018-2019, 20+ years into her professional career.

Everyone loved to claim her “bad technique” would ruin her voice, yet she’s been singing the same for 20+ years and still continues to kill the game and shut up the haters

Preach and in recent years her technique has gotten better because of sessions with vocal coaches.

I mean, I am a fan of her but... her singing sounds painful and her falsetto is... well, it's definitely not Whitney Houston's version of falsetto. She was straining so much that around 2:05 her voice cracked and she sang, "mama," with just her mouth. LOL

@@jimmorrison4ever529 If you are a fan you would realize her improvement throughout the years... Christina's belts have become more full and less strained, and her falsetto completely stayed the same. Def not a fan..

I have been a fan of hers for more than 20 years and I literally did not realize she was capable of what she did at 3:00. That is the cleanest D5 I've ever heard her belt. She sounds like an actual soprano there.

She is a vocal savage. I don’t know anyone out there who can do what she does.

She should lighten and add more head voice to her mix in the upper belt so she can have more ease and minimize the strain. But I admire her breath control and stamina

O mais engraçado é que muitos falam que ela tem uma péssima técnica, mas ela é uma das poucas que permaneceu com a voz sem tantas mudanças, se compararmos ela cantando em 2002 por exemplo e agora é praticamente igual

Notice how most of these clips are either from Liberation era or B2B era, where I'm assuming her technique was a little more healthier than in other eras.

Her voice didn't deteriorate that's great but her belts aren't particularly pleasant to listen to. This low larynx thing prevents her from truly belting
