Reggie Wright I remember watching the unsung episode of “The Clark Sisters” and Twinkie said, while the sisters went out in dates with boys, Twinkie was shut up in her room, meditating and praying with the Lord to help create new songs for the group. That showed me that she never really got to experience life and maybe that led to some of the naive choices she made in her life but I thank God he has kept her because I see her as a national treasure

Jackie is more a mother figure and they respect her as their big sister. I love seeing auntie Twinkie with the sisters but I completely understand why she wants to retire. Sis be sitting down but she has worked hard literally her entire life from childhood to now so if anybody deserves to rest she does. She’s earned it. Hopefully she’s getting rest during the quarantine and hopefully when everything lifts the sisters are SELFLESS, understanding and don’t push her too much. A lot of running can definitely take a toll on the body physically, mentally, and emotionally and we want her around for as long as possible.

Last interview I saw with Dorinda, she said she was working on a solo album. I wouldn't be surprised if Karen is working on one too. Jacky was talking about moving to Florida and you see she is hustling with her youtube channel and selling merch. My conclusion is they don't plan to continue the group stuff for long. lol Plus I'm sure Karen and Dorinda make more money solo than with the group splitting their money 4 ways. I think they are just getting through this movie run then will be back to doing their own thing. Twinkie will do whatever she pleases.

Thank you for interviewing Twinkie. Listening to her playing transformed my organ playing too. In my younger musically developing years, I was addicted to the Clark Sisters’ albums of which I have all but one. I would sit at my home on my small Hammond when I was living with my parents and listen, study, learn to play the contemporary gospel organ style better by listening to Twinkie for hours! Now, I’ve been playing piano/organ for more than 55 years. Thank you So much Twinkie for sharing your God given talents!
