This is no criticism whatsoever, I love your videos. A tip though, as I once worked in a bed/mattress shop, it's not ideal to make the bed in the morning. As we sweat during the night, all this moisture is soaking the mattress. The best, is to leave the mattress to air for the day. Half dressed beds, done in the morning, may give the benefit of both the airing the mattress as well as making the bed tidy.

I fold my blankets (one in summer, two in winter). I don’t use flat sheets and comforter. Blankets are easier to launder regularly.

Yep. I always fan fold my sheets and quilt towards the foot of the bed. Leaves most of the mattress open to dry without fully stripping it. Also a good idea to open the blinds and let the sunlight shine directly on your bed as this helps deal with any dust mites that love the dark.

It depends on the climate you live in. I live in a dry climate, so fold the covers back and wait for an 30 minutes to an hour before I make the bed. But the best solution is washing the sheets once a week. 😊

Intermittent Fasting has many great health benefits. Skipping meals does not mean skipping calories. When you eat, you need to eat the same amount of healthy foods to sustain you, just in a shorter time period. 😊

Fold your duvet towards the foot of the bed in the morning instead. It still makes the bed neat, but allows the top half (where most of the sweat, dead skin cells etc., accumulate, to air. Easy enough to pull the top half of the duvet back up just before bedtime.

An additional thing is to do for others - it may be as simple as donating to your local animal shelter or a " coats-for-kids " request . When we give joy to others , we experience happiness too - great mental wellness booster !

Love this. Thank you! I suffer from seasonal depression and the lack of sunlight in the winter really affects me. Having a routine really helps. I also do meal prep. As for chicken tasting good, I separate chicken portions in baggies, (you can use reusable baggies or tupperwear) and I season the chicken in a mixture of garlic powder, rosemary, parsely or even just a bit of sea salt or adobo. Then I just put the baggies in the freezer until I'm ready to cook. It saves so much time. 😊

Love the routine! As for chicken breast, try sprinkling both sides with Montreal steak spice (yes, the one for steak) and bake in the oven at 375 for about 35 min.(for 4). Great with a salad, in a wrap, in a protein bowl. Easy and delicious.

Okay, so for the chicken breast. Put a little olive oil in a nonstick pan and put the burner on a medium setting. Put lemon pepper and garlic salt on your chicken and put in the pan after it has heated up a little. Flip the chicken immediately and put fresh squeezed lemon juice over it and season this side with lemon pepper and garlic salt. Cook for 20 or so minutes, flipping as minimally as you can. It turns out SO good! I put this on salad or pasta or just eat it with a vegetable side. Hope that helps!

I like to start resetting with taking a long bath. I find it helps me think through what things I've let slip, make a plan for getting back on track with them, and obviously I catch up on all my bathing things in the meantime.

My step one is to switch the bed side lamp on. Even if I snooze the alarm, it's a tiny bit of light to help me get up. I've positioned mine little bit below our be, so it doesn't shine in to my eyes, but it's not too dark either. It helps especially when during winter it's dark till 10 (still until 9, even tho the sun is getting up earlier every day) I also grew up and lived in a "ingredient household", I just gave myself permission to get some snacks as high fiber snackbars, because eating something is always better than eating nothing. I also find myself forgetting to eat and when I truly feel like I'm in a rut, it's really hard to force myself to make food and usually after the snack I feel like making food anyways.

I am “one of those people who hike”, and it’s the best way to start my morning. At 5am each day, my dog and I get up and head to the woods for a 3 mile hike. To be out in the crisp morning air and watch the sun come up through the trees is the perfect way to start my morning before heading off to work. While I know this routine isn’t for everybody, I wouldn’t start my mornings any other way.

Thoughts: 1. The cowboy boots: I have a similar pair collecting dust and you’ve inspired me to create an outfit! 2. I’ve been into real estate shows recently as well. Selling Sunset and Selling the OC are my faves. 3. The actual process of cleaning is also very calming, so I’m clearing my mind as I’m clearing my space. And taking care of my stuff makes it last longer too *yay*!

Making the bed right away is slightly unhealthy. It is better to let the bed air out and dry, rather than cover it up straight away. Its mostly because of mites.
