The wedding was just perfect! I think that Gabe considers Christine to be truly equivalent to his own mother, calling her “mom” more often than any of his maternal siblings. He’s so fond of her that perhaps he feels she is more his mom than Janelle. It would make sense because we’ve seen how Janelle was always working and Christine stayed home taking care of the kids. I adore Janelle, don’t get me wrong, but she is always in control of her emotions, maybe to the point of sometimes being seen as cold. In contrast, Christine is very warm and nurturing, so I could see the very emotional child Gabe gravitating forwards mama Christine and she could provide emotional support for him.

I did not cry a drop at the first part, but I cried a bunch at the 2nd one. I kept thinking about how much pain each of these people experienced before finding each other. I was hoping for their happiness to be lasting and, as Janelle observed, a salve to their emotional injuries. Such a blessing. I hope TLC doesn’t mess this up for them!

Even though she was smiling there was a sadness in her eyes. I think Kody ignoring her for so long has done a number on her. I agree. Gabe seems the most tenderhearted, but I suspect there's a lot there with Savannah, too. Unlike so many of her siblings (especially Christine's kids) who are super extroverted/confident and will demand the attention they need, I think it's very easy for Savannah to get overlooked and ignored because she's quieter. She's also younger--she didn't grow up bossing around a bunch of under-supervised younger siblings, and Kody was probably already pretty absent for much of her childhood.

Thanks for the Kody dance montage! 😂. I couldn’t help but put on my So You Think You Can Dance judgy hat and notice that Kody seems to have no connection with the women he’s dancing with. He’s flinging them around and looking out to connect with anyone watching him, but not with the people he’s actually dancing with. You would think he’d at least look at his partner from time to time to ensure he hasn’t dislocated her shoulder!

Not all the daughters were there. Gwen was famously not at her Mom's wedding. Her official reason was because she had school work, but there is a lot of talk about her revealing on her patreon how angry she was with TLC at her engagement party (production made it more about David meeting Kody and the potential conflict than about her and her wedding.) She felt used. So the belief is that she refused to sign the NDA for her Mom's wedding (which all guests had to sign) and therefore didn't go. Heartbreaking that one of her kids didn't come.

I got teary eyed watching it again and the first time, Truely looked gorgeous, loved David, who knew Padeon was so tall! Being in a wheelchair myself hearing that David helped to timake the house accessible was so touching to me. I agree with you on all of the times you pointed out. I also teared up. Gab was definitely in tears. Gab is most definitely tender hearted. When you mentioned in another video that you would have thought that Gabriel would have been the one to give in to Kody and not Garrison to "try to mend things"... I'm not surprised that it was Garrison and not Gab. Garrison being in some contact with his dad again if it was to blow up I feel like Garison's in a better place. Gabriel likely has his walls up and for good reason. He knows he wouldn't be able to handle it like it.

I loved this episode! It was sooo nice to see the OG13 kids back together (minus Gwen) and they all just loved it. I think they needed that. Janelle was just so happy for Christine and I haven’t seen her tear up as much as she did during this episode. The one time that really stands out to me when Janelle was full on crying was the day Christine actually left Flagstaff. She went over that morning, spent some time, I remember they talked and hugged, a long tight hug, and after Janelle just broke down. When TLC put the camera on her to ask her questions (rude! But it is a show) her eyes were so puffy and red. Poor Janelle 😢 I stopped the video to comment. I’m sure I’ll be back with an edit once I watch the whole thing lol your face when talking about seeing Kody after break 🤣 same face I make 😖 🙄 lol I don’t think he or Robyn can ruin Christine’s day at all. Jenny, i agree completely what you said about this wedding. I loved it. However, the most incredibly touching wedding that I full on cried at was the surprise vow renewal between Bill and Jen on “The Little Couple”. You have got to watch it!!!! It was also a TLC show. They had just adopted their 3yr old and 2yr old from china and India, and Jen was in remission from stage 3 cancer. I’ve never seen a more beautiful and touching wedding even in the movies! Watch it please!!!!!

She's definitely a mix of both her parents. I'm not inclined to think that she's a narcissist--just that she can be a bit needy when it comes to attention (Paedon too). Christine can be a bit "extra" in a way that I see in Mykelti. Channeled well it's a trait that can make them the life of the party and able to get things going because they're not afraid of looking foolish. Poorly managed, it makes their behavior embarrassing and over the top.

is it me? I hope it is - Savanah looks sad, lost, lonely I don't know just misplaced. I wonder what is going through her head. Her dad pretty much abandoned her and who knows how much he get's together with her. I keep thinking he will pull his head out of his A$$ and start making ammends with his kids. I just keep seeing this young woman over the last couple of times she has been on the show and she looks miserable. Sorry it's late and for whatever reason I just want to reach out and hug that kid and tell her all will be ok.

I adore Christine and Janelle - I even have time for Meri, and part of me wishes she could have been there, but I get that she's an acquired taste. That appears to be an inside joke between David and the kids! Watch the movie to get the context lol I'm definitely going to watch it again since I saw so many jokes about the movie lol
