I think Americans respect stage names way more than french people (I've only watched her in those two countries) If anything sounds like a stage name in France, they're going to ask you your real name and go "can I call you that then ?" but in America, every rapper and artist with a stage name, always gets called by their stage name, no questions asked. I think it looks more professional as well. French TV isn't that professional I guess is what I'm saying haha !

The bit at 2:17 is a classic example of how bad James Corden is as an interviewer. When Christine danced, somebody like David Letterman, Stephen Colbert, Conan O'Brian or even Jonathan Ross would've build on it. Received what Christine was giving them and went on a tangent. But James here stuck to his script that he probably had memorized earlier.

@@alexhunter5783 I’m sorry, my comment was intended for her song when it was posted/combined with the interview. Most of it was sung in French and there were none available when the telecast was viewed. Now when I click on the separate song file the captions are opened but the French parts are not translated, they are open captions in French. Also, “closed” captions aren’t visible so you shouldn’t use the term when captions are opened/visible. Just say/write captions.
