I can relate to what she’s said about being uncomfortable in social situations in making friends and relationships. I love this. I can relate to Christine. I’m 47 now but in recent years I realise I have autism. I’ve always got on fine because I’ve been able to mask it and didn’t realise this when younger. Now I have a child who’s diagnosed and family members diagnosed, I know more than ever. Listening to Christine is so relatable. Thank you.

I struggled making friends , as growing up the kids who i thought were my friends turned out they wasn't, my parents were told when i was 6 that i serverer learing difficulties , it wasn't until december 2020 that i found out from reading about the diagnosis my son has that i came to realise i am also autistic and so is my daughter

I am a high functioning autistic woman (well they said it was Asperger's when i was a kid). This lass seems 'normal' to many people. She probably just masking, speaking feom experience. High functioning Autism especially in women comes across a lot different, more hidden.
