Christine Sinclair emotionally ready to say goodbye to international playing career

Christine Sinclair is nearing the end of her international playing career and it's slowly starting to hit her that this portion of her life is coming to an end. Sinclair sat down with her Canadian teammate Janine Beckie to talk about the emotional part of saying goodbye and much more.

As a Canadian and a life-long athlete in multiple sports, my favourite team since 2012 is the Women's National team. I'm so sad to see Sinc go, but I'm so proud of what you've done for the nation and the sport. You're a class act and one of my biggest role models in life. We need to keep Janine Beckie from the Portland thorns for the next 2 years. She is my fave player….maybe she might stay with the thorns for the rest of her career and no matter what team she plays for I will always be a fan of Janine BECKIE’S.
