I can onli choose so much with the knowledge of we aren’t doing everything daily!!! We love sonlight science!!! We love morning virtues and we take longer to go thru it!!! I think they onli ship to the US!!!

I love how your kids are slightly older than mine (7.5, 6, 4, 2). I'm trying to get better about planning ahead and planning in general as my kids are getting older and need more structure. I very much appreciate your reviews!

Hurray for getting a good second hand deal on the Sonlight HBL and Science! We are going to do Science A and some Morning Virtues issues, next school year, too, although our school year won't start for a while.

I have been watching you for years now. Our styles are very very similar. I also have 3 kiddos too. Questions is do you think you would have been able to do all of what you are doing (group subjects) when your littlest was 2 1/2? I have a 8, 5 and 2 1/2 year old and she wants to be included into everything which is nice but also I feel like I'm in a hurricane when I'm trying to teach the older guys.

Definitely not! Homeschooling with a toddler was by far the most challenging season for me. It's 100% okay to keep things simple.

Love your videos. So much insight! Just curious- have you ever looked into My Father's World for history/science/art/bible? It's seems very similar to Sonlight but more Charlotte Mason style and easy to incorporate with kids multiple ages. And i'm between the two.

I have looked into it but ultimately decided that I perferred the book selection and range from Sonlight. :)

We do Sonlight too and I think I'm trying to hard or didn't think to combine History, Bible and Literature. I bought all separate for my preschooler and 1st grader. The one in the video you're doing next year is what we did this year and it was sooooooo good. I loved it a lot. So did my children. For next year, would you suggest doing the 2nd grade his/bib/lit for my kindergarten and 2nd grader together?

So for next year, my oldest will be in 2nd grade and my youngest in K. Do I buy the History/Bible/literature/science for 2nd grade and then add on just literature for Kindergarten? @thishomeschollhouse

We were pretty dissatisfied with both Poppins and Peter Pan for different reasons. They have great language but it really is archaic and UK particular regarding vocabulary and colloquialisms

Do you mean it's specific to the UK? That shouldn't bother us as we tend to read a lot of classic British lit. :)

Marry Popins was a huge bummer for me this year too! We didn't mind any of the language, but gosh dang was she rude!!! Going down as one of the few times a movie is better than the book! 😅😂
