And now that I'm alone kids are all grown& got grand kids coming to visit here& there they live seeing grannies decorations! For the dent candles, heat them up a little bit with a hair dryer & run your fingers, (if you can take the heat) or a spatula you’re willing to part with & smooth out/reshape the dents.

you did your garland across the top of your cabinets almost exactly the same way that I did mine lol. The only difference is that I added some a few pieces of red , green and white deco mesh here and there . I even used the same exact garland that you used .

I am a newbie to you channel. Your channel popped up on my feed. It has been a while since I started collecting gingerbread. When I started collecting they were hard to find and how I started was with my mother in law and her sister and kind of my sister. My mother in law collected Santas 🎅 and her colors were red and gold. Her sister collected reindeer and her colors were green and red. I had everything from Santas to reindeer and all sorts of colors and so I wanted to do a theme as well and I love gingerbread theme and I love red and white. One year a Christmas store at the mall had all of their items half off or more after Christmas and I found a few gingerbread and that is where my collection started.

@@ChezTiffanie I agree, but I am kind of glad that gingerbread are rare and hard to find and one of a kind. I find them at holiday boutiques, hospital gift shops, holiday craft fairs, small mom and pop shops that pop up during the holidays and our local hospital does a tree extravaganza where the trees are decorated in themes and they are raffled off. During the 5 days, they have tons of events going on and they have a boutique with all sorts of hand-made crafts and that is where I go and have found some cute gingerbread items.
