Hey guys, home brewer here. I also had heard about the contamination issues with that brand of lacto. I’ve been using Omega Yeast for my normal fermentation needs but this time around for a sour I brewed I used Omegas’ lacto blend. I am incredibly pleased with how my brew came out. (Not paid to say this). I would check them out ! Cheers!

I love watching you guys brew... very realistic in getting "Close" on your numbers... pulling out a hose from the fermenter and wort spilling out. Stuff we ALL do...just don't want to admit to it.. ;-)

Give GoodBelly straight shot a go, I've used them with a lot of success. Made a very clean sour but it can get quite tart (just ball parking but probably 3.3 in 72hrs).

Honey should be clean. Pure honey is actually anti-microbial.
