My mom and sister both have birthdays in November and we decided to celebrate by doing some Christmas antique shopping together! We had such a fun time, and there were so many booths full of vintage Christmas finds!

Sadly, my mom didn't save our vintage Christmas stuff. We had it all including the color wheel! When she passed I found a hand made card with a tree on the front, barely any glitter left on it, it said love, Tammy. ❤️ 🎄

I actually learned how to skate with the last pair of vintage skates you showed..the ones that are rusty and have two blades per foot. You strapped your shoes to the flat surface and the double blades provided great stability! So fun to see those again!! I loved the candy molds that were your grandmothers too!

The antique stores that you visited were wonderful! They were so carefully curated and styled!! I have never seen so many holiday items in such great shape and there was so much variety. The owners must have spent a significant amount of time collecting the items. Thanks for sharing.

Oh how I miss this antique store on the corner with the beautiful toy display in its front window. I could tell it was bay city because I've been there. I live in St. Paul, Minn. I've come to bay city at least 20 times over 25 yrs. I miss it soooo!!!

I love the silver chocolate molds they sparkle like Ice Sickles. I also found at a thrift shop long sprayed tree sticks in silver or white, I'm going to put them in galvanized bucket planters on my front porch with other greenery.☃️🌠

I have some brass candle holders like those. One year when I was decorating with friends about 30 years ago a friend lit all the candles in his hand and blew them out before putting them in the holders. I told him he was going to give my mom a heart attack when she saw the black tips on the candles! 😂 Mom is now 90 but Stan passed away from cancer several years ago. Every time I decorate with those it brings back memories of that day when he lit them all!

I enjoyed your video. I see that you like to antique shop in my city so if I see something on your videos, I can run out and grab it. I love how you use vintage winter sports equipment to decorate with. I have wanted vintage snowshoes for years but couldn't justify the cost until this week. I went to the bins on Wednesday and scored 3 pairs of vintage Vermont Tubbs snowshoes for $10! Yes, $10 for all three. That was my big score of the week. I find if you just burn the wick on each candle, it gives a more realistic look as if you have just blown them out, as opposed to have just bought them. What do you think?
