@joeos4087 i didn’t love the production per se although i liked parts of it and i did love the concept. What i liked most is that Riley is trying to right the ship ... Lisa Marie didn’t do a great job with it because she had too many problems. Riley seems level headed and responsible. So while the production seemed a little flat, it was a terrific idea and shows Riley can think outside the box and maybe save the Presley legacy. Love him or hate him, Elvis was groundbreaking in popular music and pop culture and as such was and remains an important figure. His legacy should be preserved.

Outstanding Riley! As an Elvis fan when he was alive in the 70s and watching him this brings tears to my eyes. You almost feel as though Elvis and Lisa will appear and take a bow.

I remember thinking during the kitchen chat with Lana that Riley and her sibs are gonna have a blue Christmas this year; their first without their mom. It was sad. But Riley seems very strong. As i posted earlier i think she will breathe new life into Graceland and make it even grander.

Absolutely beautiful program; everyone performed at an outstanding level. I know without a doubt that Elvis, Lisa Marie, Benjamin, Vernon and Gladys, all those who have gone on before the Elvis family are extremely proud of Riley. I can feel this love myself they have for her. I ask our Heavenly Father that He will continue to bless Riley to do such future wonderful jobs re: Graceland, and for the love and legacy of Elvis. Great Christmas Special reminds us how.great he was and how he shook us up and then left us and we are still have empty hearts and miss him and still shook up because of him he greatest nobody now comes close. That was good last year. But you know who I wish was there and should have been there? Elvis, Vernon, Gladys, Dodger ( His Grandmaw ), Lisa Marie, Riley, Benjamin, Harper, Finely, Tupelo, and her daddy Big Ben. I really...really wish Gladys could have enjoyed that life just a few more years with Elvis, Vernon, and all the kids, grandkids, and her great granddaughter. Last Spring there was an advert in trade publications for the international distribution rights to air this 2023 special in foreign markets. You might see it pop up in foreign countries that didn't show it last year. I'm sure Riley and Graceland were focused on the book promo this year but we can hope they'll have a new special in '25. The ratings were good. Also, in 2023 the networks were paying for as much variety content as could be found to plug the entertainment programming hole caused by the actors and writers strikes.

Not a bad show what I really enjoyed was seeing Graceland all lit up both inside and out and to see you Riley simply chatting with your friends. Personally as a fan of your grand daddy I would love to see a blend of the spiritual and the gift of life and the many different lives Elvis changed through his music and to hear the personal stories from those who attended his concerts and met him while hearing the gospel songs performed at Graceland. I can imagine stories being shared beneath the shadow and flickering lights of a Xmas tree and Graceland adorned with Christmas decorations. How wonderful it would be to see gifts handed out on the Graceland lawn or in the lounge room to a few families who can't afford to celebrate Christmas. Merry Christmas 2024!

No. In theactual Pink Cadillac all the trim is painted pink, the one seen here has white trim. And the exterior is not identical to the actual car. This Cadillac appears to be a 1956, Elvis’ is a 55

Yes, certainly a big Christmas show in Elvis' sense, but I have a big problem with using Elvis's beloved Graceland as a music show backdrop. Graceland is not a backdrop, a show or a circus. Graceland is the home of Elvis Presley and his family and friends. Where Elvis had experienced happy and not so happy hours, where he died in the bathroom, disco lights with bright lighting effects are now shining in. I have been an Elvis Presley admirer and fan for almost 50 years now. I have been to Graceland about 12 times. Maybe I'm too old to understand this spectacle. But, in my opinion, they should have used a different location for the Elvis Chrismas Special. Sorry!
