What fun! I love the baby, sitting there in his highchair, looking around and taking it all in! 😊 On a separate note, I made the crusty mini loaves today, and they are so good! They really do go very very well with homemade chicken noodle soup! 🍜

We have a back porch thats enclosed and i love to set my cookies and candys on the deep freezer to cool in the winter. Sometimes its cold enough just to set the pot of homemade soup or whatever on the freezer and leave it there. Sometimes it gets too cold and freezes.

Wonderful Christmas memories! My peanut butter blossoms did not hold onto their stars, don't know what I did wrong. Maybe the Brachs stars aren't as good as your Fleet Farm ones. The biggest hit with the grands were the gluten free dipped pretzels. They disappeared fast, haha. Happy 4th day of Christmas, Jennifer!

Im glad to hear you have one. I was afraid they were all going away. The one here had local stone ground corn meal And local produce and fruits (when in season, as much as possible). The meats were like an Old fashioned butcher shop. Everything was processed there and looked great.

You are much kinder than me, i guess. When i make Christmas cookies ahead of time, they all go straight into the freezer till Christmas Eve. There is no sampling unless there happens to be a few broken cookies.
@acountrylife4 күн бұрын
I used to be that and was given the name of cookie nazi. Then one year I didn’t gripe at all about cookies getting eaten and they were all gone and there wasn’t a single cookie for the Christmas Eve cookie trays and everyone was so upset but only had themself to blame. Now we fall somewhere in between.
@judygillespie32423 күн бұрын
I think for every kind of cookie you bake, you need to bake an extra dozen to be eaten now. You have the house smelling, and you want your family to ignore that till Christmas. I'm glad I don't live with you..
