Christmas Crunch I DIY Christmas Gift

This stuff is addictive.. make up and give it away quickly or you'll be munching on it till it's gone!
Christmas Crunch
12 cups of chex mix, use six cups of one variety and six of another to mix it up!
1/2 a bag of pretzels
1 - 7 ounce back of bugles
20 ounces of white chocolate or Almond bark
1 bag of holiday M&M's
sprinkles
Melt chocolate in a double boiler
Mix chocolate, pretzels, bugles and chex mix with chocolate.
Add M&M's and mix all together. Spread out over baking sheets and sprinkle with sprinkles. Let rest for at least an hour, checking to make sure it's dry before storing in an airtight container.

Had to mute it cause the music she used was too loud and obnoxious. I get wanting a backtrack for the viewers to listen to while watching but choose something classical or jazzy as it IS Christmas time. Something to think of for future videos.

The “She” you’re referring to is me. Hi! I’m a real person with real feelings. I pinned a comment on this video right at the very top, so everyone could see it. I made this video just a few short months after deciding to make a channel. I was a BRAND new KZbinr and honestly, no one taught me how to make videos, it’s something I taught myself! Given the views on this particular video, I’d say I didn’t do too shabby! People try their best, and sometimes we don’t get it right! Especially when we first start trying! Something you might want to keep in mind when you stop and take the time to write comments on other people’s videos.

I met my chocolate in the slow cooker. I put it in low and leave it in there and check it in half an hour until it is well melted. So easy to do because I don't have to worry about it burning.

I've been watching some different Christmas crunch and marshmallow treat type videos and was wondering your thoughts on using marshmallows for this one? I'm guessing it would end up more like a bar rather than chunky pieces? Also watched a couple vids where they used the cooked sugar corn syrup mixture instead of the melted white chocolate. Have you tried that? I'm curious about how the final textures turn out between the two. I might have to experiment. Thanks for sharing this. It's very helpful and looks delicious. 💕

I think the marshmallows would turn out more like rice crispies, or yes like a bar.. might not be bad and end up tasting really great! I've never used the cooked sugar/corn syrup mix at all. If you try it and it's good let me know! Thanks so much for watching, and sorry about not getting back with you sooner! Getting back to normal after the holidays are rough sometimes!

@@domesticallydriven3942 I cook my sugar until it turns into caramel since I'm not a fan of white chocolate...I also use milk and dark chocolate with the caramel...nuts or peanut M&M's and of course you can't forget the sprinkles, I use the nonpareil red, green, and silver with a bit of edible hologram snowflakes 😉👍🏻

Why make something when u don’t have the appropriate tools. This is a great recipe/idea, but poorly executed. Spatulas are not used for putting melted bark on the mix. It should have been a spoon. It looks like your burner is still on. What a mess! So sad. 😢

I’m a firm believer that you work with what you’ve got! Not all of us have the money to run out and buy new! I run this channel out of my home “on a budget”. The burner was not on, the light indicates that it USED to be on.
