I’m truly happy Amaury and Nattie are getting together and very visibly extremely happy about it! I believe they’re perfectly matched: both lived a bit, have learned about life, intelligent and reliable (she practically runs that chateau, and just look at that workshop and the task he’s been set). both have a great sense of humour, but most of all they seem to be a prime example of ‘beautiful inside and out’. The POWER of KZbin.... The chateau was a bonus, but I think that KZbin has made Stephanie the center of her world in her life, and we are all just enjoying the ride. I can remember her stories about being there alone during the winter and wondering what her life was about........ well.... Exhibit A....... I can't imagine what it would be like to go to sleep and wake up every day knowing that a world of spectators are waiting for their day to be enlightened by 1 person and what she does to entertain and support our spirits during these hard and difficult times. So true! Stephanie has a special flair or light that appeals so well on camera. But that is just a teeny bit of why she’s what she is. Her skill, charismatic, humbleness comes across so genuine, we cannot help to fall in love with her. Her ability to just have such gusto and passion for her chateau and the true love for her home, a chateau that isn’t the most beautiful, but she saw it and knew she had to bring this chateau all prettied up. My Mom is her age (although much more fragile due to a botched hip surgery) that we still live a fairly cloistered life to try and shield her from the virus as much as possible. P.S. My father who is only slightly younger that your mother remembers his parents and grandparents "speaking" in the local Burgundian patois. He can still remember many of those words.

I am so pleased to hear that Mummy is over the worst of Covid. Hopefully, being in SA she had the Omicron varient which by all accounts is no worse than a very very bad cold. Damn, I've been so afraid for Isabelle in S Africa, she's my mother's age, sadly my Mom passed away 3 years ago to cancer on Thanksgiving, now France is the second worst country in the world behind the UK for new covid cases.... Merry Christmas to all from Paris!

I had a booked doctors appointment but developed a slight cough so the day before I went to have a test to show the doctor the next day that I was negative so she would see me, but I was positive so had to cancel!!!!! Big surprise. I was then treated by the GP and didn’t get any other symptoms. I count my blessings.
