Nyssa, I hear your children in the background having fun. I watch Our Tribe of Many and Sarah was apologizing for her kids being loud. I told her I enjoy the kids making noise and having fun. Hi there, I find at times I am fighting with the baking paper going into a baking tin,,,,,a dear friend taught me to scrunch up the baking paper like I was going to throe it in the bin, flatten it out and mould it to the shape of your tin - works like a dream!!!
@OurSmallFootprint17 күн бұрын
Thank you :). I should have mentioned that I normally wet it and scrunch it but I was concerned about adding water into something that would end up having chocolate in it, being that water and chocolate don't mix :D

Wow, fantastic amount of work! I pared down my food this holiday season as well and the kids were just as happy. I know you have freezer capacity issues, but what worked for me was freezing balls of cookie dough (flash frozen and vacuum packed in 12s/24s) in November so I could just pull them out of the freezer and bake fresh cookies. Sugar cookies I know can be cut and frozen ahead of time, so perhaps that would help you, although it will be nice for your mom to decorate them with the kids. :)

@OurSmallFootprint17 күн бұрын
It worked quite well! I will have to try it with real sugar though, it had a very thick crust and not much of the spongey interior, but that could have been to do with the xylitol not the method (the picture on the thumbnail is after it cooked, so it coked up lovely and white, held its shape perfectly, had some fine cracks like you expect etc!)

Im watching your video now where you are just talking. You mentioned that you were trying to diet and loose weight. You have said in one of your video someone commented and ask you why you didnt loose weight. Dont worry about what stupid ignorant people say. I have been fairly big all my life. My youngest daughter had a weight problem and I said I would never say anything about another persons weight. If you have never had a priblem with your weight, they dont know how we feel. I told someone one day that I know what I look like. I look in the mirror everyday but I love me and with Gods help I will loose some. But you are.in the lime light and some people love to put another person down. Probably jealous. LOL. Just dont let them make you feel bad. I hope I did not say something I should not have said. Good night.

Thank you Judy :) I’m not actually trying to lose weight more change my diet to help with chronic pain, Darryl is actively trying to drop weight though, so the diet is more for his benefit and easier if I just do it as well! :). After this 8 weeks I will prob reintroduce quite a few things because I’m not enjoying the change of eating style but Darryl is happy on it and has dropped 15+kg and is thrilled :D I am who I am and have been much this size since I hit puberty, I sometimes hate how my stomach sits on the bench when I’m editing lol, but mostly! I’m ok with it :) 6 kids, all big, including twins, and I lead a fairly active lifestyle it just may be who I am until I’m not :)
