not my shops, but there are two really cool ones in leeds. colours may vary is an indie bookshop with some more off-the-beaten-path style publications (books, magazines). on the wall is another indie store, but it’s all about posters - i got some awesome stuff from them this year to give as presents to friends :) also both have websites that you can order from

As someone who bought Rubys planner (as well as the one from last year): it's beyond worth your money!!(is that even an expression?) anyway, I'm really picky when it comes to planners as I like to stay organized without having to put too much effort in keeping up with all my notes and the planner helps me to keep track of everything I need to do, have done and so on! Its literally the best one I've ever used xx

For someone planning to give a stack of photos, you can give fairy lights having photo clips. Its so aesthetic and combines 2 gifts. Also I think it will be cheaper than framing the photos too.

as a /r/fountainpens poster IMHO diamine ink and a lamy is a great gift. I suggest blue/black-ish as an old standard and then another color for fun. It depends if you need to write on documents or assignments since blue/black are the approved colors. my lawyer always writes in blue so that he knows if the document has been photocopied.

These are great ideas! I would also suggest if you are someone who always struggle in comming up with ideas for gifts to start making notes of certain things that people mention they might like to get throughout the year. Whenever someone in my family or my friends say things like "Ohh, I always wanted to read that book" or talk about a specific clothing item or colour they like or a hobby they would like to try, I always write it down on my notes app so when their birthday or christmas comes I have a full range of ideas to choose from.

I personally love the Japanese Campus notebooks - the paper quality is lovely and they have perfect grid of soft dotted lines! They’re hard to get here though :/.
