I love the look of the planner, but as my days as a student are far behind me, I’d love a future version aimed at working professionals! Compared to real life, planning for school and studying was a dream! It’s lovely when all your hard work is going toward your own self-improvement and knowledge. After university, your work is usually toward improving things for others in one way or another. I wish someone would give me a syllabus for regular life haha. ✨ Have a lovely Christmas! 🎄

Dear Ruby, I’ve been following you for many years now and have loved seeing your journey. I have always admired your love and devotion to your studies. It is something I’ve always felt I had within me (I loved primary school) but have had it beaten out of me by the school system. As someone who has always had a love of school life I’m not sure if you’ll be able to help me with this but I thought I’d give it a shot anyways. You see, I used to love learning and still do. I’m one of those people who always needs to be learning something new or else I get bored. However, I’m also autistic and have ADHD and going through the school system (both high school and college) was very traumatic for me. There were no accommodations at my schools and I really struggled in a system that wasn’t designed for my type of brain. Now I can barely even read a book (I hobby I used to adore) without getting anxious or having a panic attack. I love learning but it’s “studying” I’m having a hard time falling in love with. I would love to further my education but feel I couldn’t survive the system again. Do you have any suggestions on how I could fall in love with studying and learning in that type of environment?

Hi, it’s not Ruby but I hope she replies to you.. I just wanted to comment because I have a suggestion that may be helpful. The Open University offers many academic qualifications and maybe some vocational courses as well. It’s flexible, online learning with regular tutorials with a regional study group. I can’t say in every case but you don’t necessarily need previous qualifications to go ahead with a course. Also, most importantly, they offer a lot of help if required. They offer free short online courses as well which would give you an idea of what you may like to study. Those are a good idea because what you study is the same as in a bricks and mortar university. It’s a huge commitment. My experience of the school system wasn’t the best either so the degree that I studied has been invaluable to me. I hope that helps!

Hey, I am very sorry to hear that you're having such a hard time. I have autisme and noticed that I have experienced the same struggles as you did. I can't go to school anymore, because I get to tired and because it makes me very anxious. I am finishing my highschool on my own at home and i find it very hard to find motivation. I also feel very alone because I don't go to school. Luckily I still love reading, but it must be hard to feel anxious about something you used to love. I wouldn't really know how to help you, but I hope that you feel less alone. I know how you feel and I hope it gets better soon. I also absolutely love the 2009 A Christmas Carol, I feel like I'm the only one in my social circle who has to watch it every year. The animation of the characters can be a little off-putting the first minutes after a year of not watching it but you forget about it so quickly because the atmosphere, mood and environment of the movie enhances the animation all together.
