Thanks for sharing some of the beautiful city this time of year. I miss home sooooo much, it was nice to see a bit of i. Please Joe stop pushing! you have the flu and not only won't you get better if you don't rest, you are probably spreading it being out around others. It is Christmas time and no one deserves to be sick, so don't share it! Love you guys and hope you feel better quickly and can enjoy the holiday!

Laura, when I was a kid my mom used to make an Italian bread with pork in it, my Italian is no bene, but my recollection is that we called it something like envinulata... I don't know the spelling, but it was so good! I can never recreate the filling right and I don't have my mom's recipe. Oh yeah... Your reaction was priceless when you you realized you forgot pajamas!!! Feel better Joe!!!

Laura, I know you shop at shoprite, does the one near you do Shoprite from home? I just did it for the first time today. It's amazing!! I had to get loads of groceries in for Christmas dinner. I was able to order them online and they delivered them today, it was so helpful and convenient!!

Sounds like Joe has the same cold I had (and half the people I know have had). It started with a very sore throat and turned into a cough/stuffy nose that lasted a couple of weeks. I'm telling you, take lots of Vitamin D. It helped me so much! And sleep as much as possible. I know you guys are busy, but this cold is a doozy! Please take care of yourself. :)

It's killin' me to watch the last three vlogs that document Joe's descent into illness & discomfort... I'm a homeopath and for sure, next time this all starts, I'm going to shout out for information necessary to send you a remedy and get you well!!! Yikes! Remember those viruses are wimps and a really hot bath can easily go a long way to squash them for some relief...Sending healing and love to you, both!

Laura you're always classy and beautiful. Joe is one lucky guy. My late wife's family came from the boot if Italy..went over many times. They were both chefs and one uncle made wonderful furniture with words from Africa. Spent a lot if time in Venice and Corsica a favorite if mine. Rome was too hot and busy. Venice beyond beautiful. Also did some Army training too..got Italian Jump Wings. But lumped after a big lunch of pasta...ugh.
