I’ve really focused my collection on medieval/castle, I can’t financially keep up with much more than that, but I’ve always loved trains and will definitely have to get this set eventually. At $200 would’ve been a day one purchase. Might wait until a sale/event, maybe a really good gift with purchase to buy.

It’s a very cool looking train, I probably should have waited for a sale as it’s very expensive, the track sections included have no doubt bumped the price up but I’m impatient lol😂

Wow amazing to see London at night and how busy it was. Don't think I could do those crowds at Christmas but it is definitely an experience to do! I love the Orient Express but it will stay on my wish list for now. Only a week till I love to my new place and have a massive backlog of sets to build.

Yeah that’s the biggest crowd of people I have seen in London for many years. Next year I’m going during the week lol. My backlog is crazy, I’m not buying any more Lego until next year now😂

Hi from Australia hi UK. I just got mine last week at Lego land I'm on last 4 bag s on the build 😊..then getting to power it up .I all so looking at making the caridge s shorter .so thay not as Heavey .and for it to get around courier s with out hitting stuff close to the corner s in my Lego City

I’ve always fancied travelling to London this time of year but may think twice about that now 😂. Thank you for sharing your trip there and the orient express does look awesome. I will definitely be buying this but not until next year sometime.

Yeah after that experience I can’t recommend it lol, at least not at a weekend. During the week might be a better time, I worked in London for 5 years about 20 years ago so should have known how bad it can get. Typical though, the week after I buy it, Lego drop double points, very annoying lol😂

Tell me about it. I ordered the Eldorado Fortress for my Christmas present from my wife to get the winter carriage gwp, only to find I can still get it with double points too Doh!

Nice pick up! Not sure I will get the orient but it does look a nice model. I grabbed the bookshop in the double insiders. Wonder if there will be any more gwps before the year is out

Ahh excellent getting the Bookshop, your first modular isn’t it? I’ve seen a rumour there maybe a new Christmas poly bag this weekend and also the 4th House of the World will have another run, just waiting for Lego to confirm🙂

@@TheDyslexicGeak I grabbed the police station the other day as well. Figured if I ever got into them I’d regret not picking them up. Worst case I can hold onto them for a bit. If assembly square comes back down I may grab that as well for the same reason. My wallet needs a break for this year though 😂 I never got HOTW4 so it would be nice to round out the collection of them if it does come back

@@Ultra_bricks oh excellent, certainly well worth getting them both before they retire, Assembly Square is an absolute must have, hopefully it may have one last sale at John Lewis. I missed the 4th house too but I’m not spending any more money on Lego in 2023 so I may have to buy of eBay as it would be a shame not to have it after getting the previous 3🙂

I’m thinking similar. I have the other 3 so would be nice to complete the collection. If I see assembly square reduced I will likely grab it then I am done for the year. Luckily I have most of the main sets I want now. Just a couple of big ones left. @@TheDyslexicGeak

@@Ultra_bricks thing is even when Assembly Square does retire, it’s been well over hoarded so prices won’t rocket for quite a while. I’m getting nervous about the UCS AT-AT, there are rumours it’s retiring in 2024, which really makes thing awkward, hopefully this might change
