Blackpool looks great with all the lights. Much much better than Dump-on-Trent, its pathetic here. A few strings of lights and two small trees that also have cheap lights on them in the town centre :( Ill have to go back to Blackpool again some day it still looks a great place to visit :)

Came home today after a lovely time in BLP took the tram to Bispham and walked back to the Christmas market .illuminations in Bispham are lovely we went into a lovely pub for a coffee The Highland the staff was putting their Xmas tree up .had a laugh with them .. wish I could upload photo I took of the sun setting it was awesome ... Sea was so still the sky was clear we could see over to the lakes. ....and your right it’s Baltic 🥶🥶 ..... great video Steve thank you wish we’d have seen you . Stay warm

Hi Stephen, this is not related to this video but something you alluded to in your collaboration with the Macmaster. The video where you go through the lights to Pablo's fish and chips. In that video you mention the story of Harry Corbett buying the Sooty puppet in Blackpool. But did you know that the puppet he bought was actually made in my home town of Wellington Shropshire, by the Chad Valley company. The factory building is still there but is now luxury apartments.

That repair job baffles me. WHY would anyone do that? It's bordering vandalism! Who signed that off as a job well done? So some cowboy has taken the blocks away, probably redone his patio with them and dumped in spare tarmac from a pothole blitz instead. Why not just re-level and put the blocks back in, in keeping with the look? Council handing out lucrative contracts paid for by the tax payer to friends and family again Stephen?🧐
