Great photos, great place, I used to deliver there, we take a boat out round that island when we are over that way at centre parcs, the keswickian chip shop, great food, looked really busy for November. Keep going you can do some videos around newcastle 😆

Fantastic Stephen. The Bank Tavern has the best pub grub in the UK in my opinion. Wonderful place and everywhere is within walking distance. I had a wee bit of a mishap with a cabin cruiser on Derwentwater, but I'm sure that no one noticed. @13:56 on the left was called the Rembrandt cafe. They done amazing salads. I see the Moot hall everyday. I have a Lilliput lane model on my windowsill in the studio. The 2 parks (Fitz and Hope) are amazing. Thank you Stephen.

Love this video, coming to manic Keswick. I am not that far from Keswick, the autumn colours in the lake district do stick around for a while, Cumbria is a lovely part of the country, but always full of tourists, even down the road at Cockermouth. Keep up the good work, and if you can, do more of Cumbria please, there is a lot more to it, am sure people not been here before in out lovely neck of the woods, would love to see more of Cumbria. Well. What a fantastic video Stephen, could see you really enjoyed it and yes what awesome stunning views. It’s my second home !!!!!!! ….. always try stay there. Few times a year. Just came back yesterday nov 25th. Stayed in. Kings Arms. Pub/hotel. Enjoyed. As always my stay in Keswick, over time now know it more less inside out. I last went September this year. Lots. Great pubs good food. Where I stayed fine. Good breakfast. Evening meals. Fair. The dog and gun is. Good pub, gets very busy and has just reopened and didn’t go in was. Wall to wall !!!!! My favourite chocolate/ gifts a favourite is FRIARS. Shop and. The bakery come coffee food house Well known is BRYSONS. Love the coffees and food in their tops !!!! Not generally a cheap bash having Meals & Drinks in Keswick, but. You only get what you pay for !!! Keswick museum fine and ritz park good with bridges and river passing through think it’s the river GRETA ? Hope park good and walking further derwentwater. Theatre cafes and lake. Love the place fullstop. Have been previously on boat trip. What is there not to like at all n KESWICK. Nothing. A fantastic. Place. The Skiddaw and all mountains and all days out well worth it. The lakes distillery near bassenthwaite lake a good go to also for a visit . could see Stephen you were dodging the masses of people on narrow pavements, yeah. Totally get it. Went round the market, which is a Thursday and Saturday. Nice go to also. When I was there it as it on Thursday as high winds so cancelled. But I visited market before leaving to return home. Glad you too enjoyed it. Yeah can imagine being in that stunning scenic area Stephen for your workshops, just a totally perfect spot for you and place to be. Glad all went good there for you. Enjoyed Keswick as a base for trips out and about back in the day. Stagecoach does a good weekly ticket for getting around which covers Blackpool too.

Another excellent video Stephen and most enjoyable. There is a great bus route 555 from Lancaster. Knott End to Lancaster bus route 89 is another lovely scenic route too. Keswick is well worth visiting out of season with many local small independent businesses that are certainly worth visiting. Looking forward to returning to Fleetwood and Blackpool in the early New Year.

This was in the Keswick Times & Star in April 2023. PLANS are underway to relocate a Greggs in Keswick to what was previously a former butcher and deli. The chain will be moving from Market Square to a ‘new and improved’ shop on Station Street. The premise on 8-10 Station Road used to be home to Thomasons Butchery and Deli.
