It's amazing that Christmas decorations in Japan where it's not a Christian country, does a better job of decorating than any place I've seen elsewhere. I'm so planning on coming to Japan next year hopefully we can😀

..so pretty those Christmas trees and with the Tokyo tower in the background...beautiful👌🏼👌🏼 ..I think there's a Christmas market or two that opened in our country but only to sell items no one was allowed to sell food to avoid gathering of people ..hopefully next year will be better🙏🏼🙏🏼 for now let's all keep safe coz there's another strain of the virus going on in some countries which apparently can infect more people easily than the first strain ..Keep safe and healthy always👋🏼

I live in NY and we still had Christmas markets here due to low Covid numbers. I feel very fortunate to have traveled around NY this year. It was also my first time in many years not going somewhere else, but NY is a great state and there's lots to do. I feel happy that your only trip this year was to NY. I completely agree with your gratitude. As long as we have our health. Happy Holidays! I enjoy your vlog style videos so much. :-)

Yayyyy thank you Shinichi for this. We can’t go out. This is lovely ohhhhh so many lights. My fave traveller expert. It’s beautiful there. Wow. Ahhhhhh the lights fill my heart and your voice always relaxes me. You look relaxed and happy, hope Satoshi is ok. I’m thinking he gets anxious with all the people whereas you’re used to it in these times. Awwwwwwww Satoshi with the cinnamon for you. You two are so good for each other I think. Not in the U.K. no Christmas markets. We aren’t at your stage yet.

We can shop in Southern California, but we can't eat at restaurants, even outdoors. Restaurants that don't lend themselves well to takeout have closed temporarily. Buffets have gone out of business. I consider myself blessed to have a roof over my head, food on my table, and to be in relatively good health, considering I'm a 5+ years cancer survivor. Your adventures are amusing and entertaining. I hope both of you stay safe, healthy and happy...

Nice to see Japan's Christmas market. Looks like a Nice place to be. In the Netherlands everything is closed. All shops are closed except the supermarkets. So i did some Christmas shopping online. With Christmas we were allowed to have 3 guests at home. So it was a little Christmas with the people we love the most. Hope you had a great christmas

Here in South Africa things are not going so well...all liquor sales are stopped, we are not allowed to go to the beach, all gatherings are limited, we have a curfew from 9 at night till 6 in the morning. Have lost some family and friends due to complications of covit. And yet there are still some very ignorant people who still won't wear masks and have massive gatherings. There are still markets as people desperately need to make a living as this pandemic has created massive job losses and our economy and especially the tourism industry took a big knock. But we are greatful for family and friends and having food and jobs so praying next year will be better. Thanks for bringing Japan to us who cannot travel.

I can't remember if you said you've been to the Christmas markets in Europe, but they are definitely worth a visit. I was stationed in Germany for 3 yrs. But really only got to spend a little over 1 yr there due to Iraq deployment. But I remember that yeasty beers where Hefewiesen (w's are said as v's so Hefeviesen) and clear beers where Crystalwiesen. Don't roll me for my German. I barely learned anything except what I needed to order beers and tell a cab driver where I wanted to go. But the food and especially the beer in Germany is amazing. Their beer completely crushes American domestics. Just stronger but also more flavor.

That pretzel looked very good but the goulash (gulasz in polish) were very surprising. I would never expect broccoli to be put into that dish, we usually use meat, carrots, onions, maybe potatoes kind of like Japanese curry but without curry taste... the consistency was a bit too watery to be called a proper gulasz xD. Again goulash looks like Japanese curry but doesn’t taste like curry more like meaty savory taste :). But if it was tasty that’s all that matters ;)
