At 10:47, the toasted ham cheese you're talking about is called "raclette" :) And yes, it's something typical for us (french) during winter season ! We DO love it :) Thanks for your videos, good job !

Bologna. The city in which comic artist Andrea Pazienza's genius bursted out. He left us too soon. Bloody eroine. If you have the chance to grab one of his old comics, you won't regret it. It's a piece of quite recent italian history and culture. Maybe one of "Zanardi" stories. Pretty hard to read maybe because of its old slang and dialectal words but very funny and wonderfully drawn.

That's not the only place where the Christmas market is located in Bologna. There is a famous one that takes place under the porticoes and it's called "Fiera di Santa Lucia".

Tomorrow, 7th December will be Saint Ambrose's day in Milan, with its the traditional market in the center of the city. The "O Bei O Bei".

@@RafaelDiFuria The fun fact is that "Ambrose" in milanese dialect is pronounced practically in the same way it is pronounced in English. Ahah! Dunno maybe because of the mutual Old French origin; it should be asked to some expert.

@@RafaelDiFuria it's a "normal" Christmas market, but I think famous for gifts. The specific is the day, Veronese people prefer make gifts to their children in Saint Lucy's Day rather than at Christmas!

Sembri una splendida persona, ma devo dirtelo: le tue scelte in fatto di cibo, sono troppo americane e da turisti. Ti perdi la vera qualità dei nostri prodotti e me ne dispiaccio. Sono nato e vivo a Ferrara, e vederti ordinare i cappelletti con la panna è stato un piccolo colpo al cuore. Sono considerati da noi ferraresi, un piatto per turisti, studenti o bambini per lo più. Tra l'altro hai mancato Noemi per un soffio, passandoci davanti solo dopo. Sicuramente di qualità superiore. Di fianco, tra l'altro, a Laudano e Misture, uno dei migliori cocktail bar della città. Te lo scrivo qui perché mi è saltato il tappo vedendoti ordinare solo roba con formaggio e bacon, che noi italiani solitamente non usiamo nemmeno. Nelle città, rispettivamente regina e principessa, del mangiar bene, grasso e gustoso, hai scelto la roba da turisti. Ho un po' pianto dentro. La prossima volta, ti prego, ti supplico, fatti guidare da un italiano, possibilmente del posto. Il tuo palato ed i tuoi occhi ti ringrazieranno 😊 Ho notato che parli italiano molto bene, quindi mi son permesso di dilungarmi un po'. Saluti e complimenti per tutto! (tranne le scelte culinarie 😋)
