I get so many compliments on my Christmas moss in my 55g. You should check it out because I'm about to have to trim it. It's grown deeper than the aquarium. I'm gonna do a video asking people in what shape I should trim it in to. I have no idea, but since I started using liquid ferts because I switched to all live plants, the moss was from a one inch cutting I glued to a long piece of driftwood 1 year ago when I set up my 55g tank. I'd appreciate your feedback actually if you have the time. It just exploded after I started using the liquid ferts...thanks

I put some Christmas mass on my tank but even after a month it's still the same shape...not growing, and turned slightly brown.... suggest me something please

Great video if I grow this outside the tank and doesn't have direct access to water, how many times do I need to add moisture to this?

Your one of the few people that has said, "This moss grows fast". I've had it for years and it DOES grow fast, at least for me. Most all mosses we buy a small golf ball size, split it up and glue or string it to rocks, wood etc. I use glue and once it begins to establish itself, about two or three weeks. It take off like crazy. It's those two or three weeks that people say, Well it's not growing. I rip mine apart every so often, and give it away by the HUGE handfuls. I know a few people that just can't grow it. I use no ferts or special lighting. My tanks are dirt tanks and well established. It's almost to easy to grow.

I have this moss on a rock In my tank with a betta, and it’s slowly just dying. Have high light for 13 hours a day. Ph is 7.3, nitrate 10, ammonia 0. Not using any liquid fert or co2. Any advice? I purchased it from buceplants and have had it in my tank for 2 weeks now and it’ continues to brown

What does it look like? Brown or algae infested. 13 hours of light sounds too much. Has your tank completed cycling?

6-8hours of high light is enough 0nitrate 0ammonia use ferts or co2(if no improvement) avoid putting floating plants right above the moss

When y buyed mine I cut it in lots of pieces and then put them on a 12 hr of led light, apparently it loves light but not Heath

Yes it can. I have grown it emergent , including on substrate and logs. Keep it wet at all times.

No no ferts stupid small amount of animals no water changes as food and that’s it the fish are the ferts I have not done a water change in months and the plants and fish do good the fish are breeding aswell
