Just a little thank you, Gopher. Something I’ve never talked about before, but I thought it was time. I used to be suicidal and saw no way out. But then I encountered your original Vampire the masquerade let’s play, (featuring the mad malkavian and you enjoying the unique dialogue so much,) and had an epiphany. That it wasn’t about finding an instant fix for such issues. It was about adapting, growing and coming to terms with what’s going on, so you can grow and move past what’s affecting you. I know I wouldn’t still be here, years later if not for coming across your channel, right before I was going to end it all. So thank you. You change people in ways that aren’t always obvious and by just being you. Sorry it couldn’t have been more, but I’m saving for a new apartment. Maybe you can buy another pizza or something 😂 I don’t want to sound corny, but thank you again.

I really enjoyed this. Your take on what makes TES so addictive is spot on. The land calls you back just like the hills in Argyll, Northumberland and the Gower Peninsula. You get a feeling like visiting the LOTR shire would give, sitting in the Prancing Pony eating pie. Its cosy with a dash of subtle threat. I have to say, of all your content I most enjoy those that you can put your own character performances into. I liked the Horizon playthrough but LOVE Leonard and Inigo’s adventures. Your plans for 2025 look very promising, so much to look forward to. Have a wonderful Christmas 🤩

I rewatch your Outer Worlds playthrough (base game + both DLCs) once a year, mostly for your reactions to the dialogue and certain plot elements . I am sad that series didn't do as well as others, but I do understand why. I think you nailed it - the world around you in OW seems like a cardboard cutout, the characters and the writing are the only things that make it seem somewhat alive.

Interesting place to explore - indeed a powerful message to open world games developers. Stalker 2 is a great example. It has tons of bugs and optimization problems, but somehow many are willing to overlook all of these because the Zone just keeps you curious.

One mod of yours, Gopher, that I'd really like to see ported over to Fallout 4 is Pumping Iron! That body type triangle (fat, skinny, muscular) just begs for something like that! I know it would be a lot more complicated than the Skyrim version, but it would totally be worth it! Not eating enough would make you lose weight (i.e.: move the slider towards Skinny), doing a lot of exercise (walking, running, jumping, or at least melee, carrying heavy weapons, etc.) would make you buff (move the slider towards Muscular)--if you get enough to eat--while overeating would make you fatter (move the needle towards Fat). You could even integrate it with existing Needs mods! The only reason I can see as to why it hasn't been done already is because it's complicated 😅...

I actually have your "I don't like Save Stations" video in a shortish playlist, so I can easily toss a link at anyone who "doesn't get" the whole thing about playing games the way that you most have fun with them. Just because you (figurative and collective 'you guys', not you specifically Gopher) like uber-hard killer survival deathmode with extra bloody mutilated corpses, does not in fact mean that anyone who doesn't like that is "doing it wrong" or has "weak stomach". That and when people slam me (or in the case of one of the streamers I watch who doesn't like onions, defend others) for not liking a couple foods. Personally I like peanuts well enough; not my favorite, but nothing wrong with them. However, the rant within a rant about peanuts in that video has actually helped me to get the point across to more than a dozen people. And for the record: Yes I had tried almond milk during the ten years I couldn't do dairy. No I didn't like it, and it almost makes me gag. Yes I'm sure. No I'm not kidding. ;) - In response to literally 50+ DIFFERENT people going through that whole discussion over the ten years. LOL Thankfully I can have dairy again, and no I still don't like almond milk. ;)

by the sounds of it you have fried your laptop Motherboard. Your only option is to replace it entirely. with it being so close to christmas you will more than likely have to replace the enitre machine :/ FYI Laptops have a feature in the bios that disables the battery so you can safely disconnect it (Only way to re-enable it is via plugin the power cord like your going to charge it). I had to learn this when I was doing ITIL Training :/

In regards to games that you can interact with the stream with, perhaps something like RimWorld or Dwarf Fortress? You can name the members in your "colonies" kind of similar to what you did in XCOM, except there aren't really "skills" or looks the subs/viewers can request. They're also not really story games, they're more "build your story" type games. The game throws random events at you and the story is you reacting to them, essentially. RimWorld has a very active modding scene and is more polished than DF but DF is more "complex". RW really only has walls, floors and roofs, while DF has that and many many layers. RW also has more personalised characters, while DF is more "ant simulator"

You MUST play first and second Gothic games, there is dx11 renderer for them They superb and my favorite, do things before Oblivion, realistic fantasy world, npc living here and react to things you do, interesting story, feel of progression, small cozy open world, choosing between factions, you just like it, guarantee!

The thing with the remaster for Oblivion is such a dick move. They know 1000% that the mod is in the making and drop now a crappy remaster? I hope they choke on it and Skyblivion goes through the roof.

@LNER985 let's face it... Bethesda is going down since Skrim maybe F4. Starfield is a fucking joke and meanwhile many players fear that they will screw up even more stuff. Many big companies lost completely where they came from and screwed up big time the last years. The last 10 to 15 years the quality of games goes down the drain. Golden era is gone greed and unpolished crap is king. I can not remember anything like that in the past. Almost every big release is a totally shitshow. I'm quite close to end this hobby after 40 years. Sick of unfinished games, sick of paid content, sick of paid mods not worth a cent, sick of spending my money on any of this. I ended up playing games a least a year after release and on sale. Or Indy games. Their developers have at least still the passion and love.

This was my gut reaction as well, but think about it for console players. This way console players still get a remaster, and mod users still get a superior remake. Just my 2 cents

I would find Gothic quite funny, but the english dub is not as good and it is total jank, maybe with the remake you could have fun. You like handcrafted worlds and this is one of the best! Thanks for sticking with games and live livestreams, been having so much fun with your recent games. Even if GoW will be a you game, I hope you make a video of some kinds about it :). Another Tactic game for Stream could be Civ alright, there have been many XCOM Clones in the past years, I would say some of the Warhammer based ones are really good.
