So a bit further into the vlog now.. I don't have a dog (yet haha) but I would like to imagine it is similar to when you're a small child and don't understand certain big events or big holidays yet but do get that certain type of feeling of excitement and being hyped about all the hussle and bussle - you could just feel the the cosy vibe and notice all the food smells, the fire, the lights etc. So I guess: Yes! I do think so! I would love to see Basil's present unboxing haha.

Lauren, the garland looks amazing! Can I make a suggestion to paint the inside of the fireplace either black or a dark charcoal grey? It will make it look like a working fireplace and you could even brick the inside flooring and place a brass metal frame to hold logs. I just think it would complete the whole vibe and be very cost effective. Also will add some contrast to the fireplace.

Hi Lauren x how beautiful is your Christmas 🎄 home looking! And all that you have created your garland and wreath and the deep red flowers in the vase are perfection you are so creative it’s stunning 🤩 My dog didn’t understand Christmas 🎄 in the sense that we do but oh she knew certain flags that she seemed to remember from one year to the next like the tree 🎄the decorations! Furniture moving and the upbeat tempo in the home lol she would get excited follow us everywhere and loved all her clan around (which of course all brought her gifts 🎁) she even knew which one was her stocking! And yes she was family (sadly she crossed 🌈 17 months ago) we all adored and spoiled her! I’ve not been able to go there again yet but I will in time get another fur baby so you spoil and enjoy Basil’s first Christmas 🎄 they are so so precious don’t miss a second!………can’t wait to see your tree go up and your home continue to build on Christmas 🎄 be proud you are an achiever 🎄💞
