I have MTHFR too. But I only have one set. My youngest girl came at 28weeks. She is now 14. We have now realized that the MTHFR could have been the issue. A nurse practitioner ordered a genetic test about 5 years ago. She gave me a printout of what MTHFR was and what meds would work best. Knowing that I had it allowed me to not use Folic Acid(Man made stuff) and instead focus on L-Methylfolate (God made stuff). Shortly after I found out I had it, Erin Bates revealed she had it. And many of the Bates girls have it. I am so happy Joy figured this out and prayerfully will have a successful delivery 🙏

Joy I am soooo glad you are realizing young that messes don't matter as much as a clean house. Messes and filth are two different things and messes are okay. I didn't learn that until I was much older! I wish I would have enjoyed my 1st two kids and their messes as much as I did my 3rd child who came much later and now my grandkids. Enjoy every moment with them because it truly does go too fast.

My husband passed away when my kids were 4 and 8. I used to make a big turkey dinner up until that point. I started to put a roast with carrots and onions in the crockpot and let it go. That way we opened presents and I was able to play with them without worrying about a meal. Merry Christmas!

I'm sorry. I am always at someone else's house but I think that's great. The few times we were by ourselves I did Boston market or we went out. Love the crockpot idea. God bless and happy New Year

I have the same mutation of MTHFR. They didn’t find out until after my 5 miscarriage. I’m so glad you found out early and are able to take the meds you need. Merry Christmas!

My kids are grown, we have 9 grandchildren so far. You are understanding perfectly about kids and the house. I sat down everyday and played blocks or a game depending on their age. I said they are only little once and I have the rest of my life to have that perfect house. I love that they all still come home to play cards and games-I still don’t have a perfect house ❤️. Relax and enjoy the people God gave you.

As a Mom and Grandmother of 10 I’m still learning. One thing I can attest to is having a clean & organized home helps me mentally. Teaching children and leading by example is important. It gives long term skills that don’t always come later in life. I noticed your daughter looking over and saying “that’s a mess” so obviously she is aware so obviously your teaching her.
