This was nice and she is so talented. I appreciate seeing how she approaches crafts and decorating, but watching people shop is definitely not something I want to spend time on. My least favorite episodes are the antiquing ones (though I do love the interaction between Laura and her mom), and for recipes I have food channels. I am happy that the majority of content is about gardening.

I have always loved a Blue and white and silver tree. My first tree when I moved out I wanted so bad to be blue and white. But I only had like $20.00, so I went through every thing in my house. Old ornaments that were different colors. I had two kinds of spray paint so I took all the old glass ornaments I had that were different colors and spray painted them all blue. My white can was so old that all it did was spit and sputter all over. So I let that spit over the blue gave it a snow falling look. Still to this day still one of my favorite trees. Just because how creative I had to get. Definitely donate old ornaments to goodwill or a charity cause some people like me that didnt have money to spend on ornaments, really do appreciate it.

I learned this from you, and thnx for that! This is not a question, more of a comment, if some of viewers have a minute, maybe it can help to you too. I'm not particularly religious but as long as I live I'll keep my family traditions alive, my late Mom was huge in Christmas, so growing in that surroundings I become too. Love everything about Christmas, trees, ornaments, twinkle lights, cakes, cookies, familiar tastes and smells of Christmas food. My family is Catholic and in Catholic traditions, custom is too put tree on Christmas Eve and keep it to 6th of January to Epiphany or to end of January to holiday of baptism of Christ. But with full time job and rush, fast lives we all live this days, to leave everything for last 5 minutes, it become burden, not joy. And that's were Laura and Garden Answer step in, I'm old viewer, watching GA for 5-6 years, watching Laura decorating(I learned from Laura to make wreaths, garlands, marking them now for me, my sister, my Mom's sister) and was thinking, why I don't do it as well. Now I do all my decorating et the end of November at begging of Advent and finish to St.Nicolas on 6th of December, I'll just leave setting of Nativity scene for Christmas Eve to keep that part of tradition. I do all od my Christmas shopping at begging of December, I'll buy everything I need except fresh fruits, veggies and meat and stay away from rush and crowd to rest of month. With all that done, I have rest of December to enjoy Christmas, lights, trees, go to town, watch decorated windows, grab coffee, hot chocolate or bolied wine on Christmas market and just be relaxed and enjoy this time of year that I love so much. If you also feel this part of year become burden, try to organise it differently, bring yourself back simple, relaxed Christmas we had as kids. Like Laura said in this video, want to have relaxed December and enjoy it. Peace and love 😚

Thank goodness for your mom. I have always called it Modge Podge too. Way back in the 70's, I made Christmas ornaments with Styrofoam balls, and paper napkins (cutting out the design you wanted off the napkins) and then brushed the Mod Podge over the napkins to hold them in place on the balls. We also added glitter and a ribbon to hang them. Always a fun project for the kids to try too. On your beautiful blue tree you could place in some pinecones to replace the nutcrackers and the Santa's you take off after Christmas. Such a wonderful video.

Just love this tree. I miss my Mom! We made nosegays and hat boxes for a Victorian tree, all in pinks, burgundy and mauve. It was so beautiful. Another year we covered styrofoam balls with peach and blue fabric and crocheted lace and ribbons. Not only did the trees last for many years, but the memories of sitting and crafting the ornaments last a lifetime. My Victorian tree was from 1982 and I still have most of it. Over the years I have used some of the clear iridescent bulbs for other trees. My Mom passed away in 2022, and we split some of her ornaments between us 3 kids. Even though those ornaments don’t go along with the theme of my tree now, I still put them on the tree. She had a huge collection of crystal ice cycles that I have been able to add to for my bigger tree. I just love them!

I’ve recently gotten into thrifting and second hand shops so I find it inspiring to think all you need is a hot glue gun and a dream and you can spice up or change your Christmas tree theme on a budget. Also I hope you have a chance to vlog an antique trip soon, I know some people want only gardening videos since that’s your main audience but I would love to see what you find. It's beautiful. I think I would remove the lamp and push the tree back a little bit more but that's me. Beautiful job Laura and Mom & kids 😃

You will love to have some Dutch Delft Porcelain christmas hanging decor on that tree! I have some from a dutch friend and are so special! You may find some at your antique stores! ❤ Loved how that tree turned out! (Designer here! Your taste is exquisite!)

You ladies created a beautiful blue themed Christmas tree. Looks very rich. Mod podged ornaments I will have to try. Thank you for making our day.❤❤❤❤

All of the mind-0:00 changing at the last second is so fun! First the sugar cookies turned into snowmen and now red/gold became blue/ white! Love this new flexibility! Great tree!

I love how the material for the Mod Podge has birds. Also some of the blue and white ornaments had birds. This tree is just beautiful and calming.

My Mom says “Freshca” for the soda called “ Fresca”. We lovingly give her a hard time about it.
