That tree is a beauty. I love that all the ornaments have a special meaning for your family. That’s as it should be.❤️🇨🇦

Hi Laura! I agree. I love spending time looking at all them every year. That's probably why it take so long to put it up. LOL

I love it, that’s what I used to see sevens and I always use a Frasier fir. It’s the best nostalgic traditional tree growing up as a kid that we use. It takes me back to all those years of being a kid. Way to go beautiful! Oh my God, switching out the lights when you get a clump of one color in one section, I do that and make sure that every single bulb is working. Have you ever seen the pink C7? My grandmother had a chest of them upstairs in her attic with the others. In one year I was probably seven years old I went up late in the night and changed out all the colors on the tree from the ugly blue and red that they liked. Needless to say the tree was a multicolor extravaganza!!

Hi. What an amazing comment. Thank you so much. About 7 years ago, or so, I found pink at a small hardware store. I wonder if they still have them during the season. There may have been one or two on this tree. Next Christmas I'm going to stop by there and see if they still have pink. Have never seen them any place else. These are new of course. I have some old bulbs and use them on the outside of our house. The colors are different than the new. Changing the lights, that is funny. Sounds like something I'd do too. I really enjoyed reading your comment. Thanks for writing.

Beautiful. I also still use these old big bulb lights and there’s nothing like them.

Hi LeAndra, Tom and Grace! A very fun video seeing how you found your tree and hearing about all the meaningful ornaments❣ I love the Jesus stocking 🤍❤💚. The tree is like my childhood memories, especially with the tinsel! Sorry to add this note, but I'm not able to open your nice comments to us on our last two videos in order to give you a ❤ or reply. I don't understand what is going wrong. Thank you for your nice messages, but I can't open them to find the rest of your message. I will check on the computer tonight under Studio comments. Maybe they went into a Review column??? Strange. Sorry. Love your new channel and name. So happy you are back!!😊

Tom grew up with tinsel on the tree too. I love the look of it at night with all the lights. Did you get the comments all worked out? Maybe it's because my channel is new.

The C7 bulbs on a real tree release the fragrance that miniature lights don't.
@95KIPPIE Жыл бұрын
I use the C7s on artificial and on real trees For many years and have never had a problem. Whatever you do, don’t string more than 2 to 3 end to end, I usually do 2 just to be safe
@thriftedvintagehome Жыл бұрын
I'm sure that over the years we had had more than 3 strings. That is good to know. Thanks you.

Booo- frazers, whites, scotch pines etc BALSAMS are the ONLY Real Christmas Trees....(made in Nova Scotia) From a total Xmas Tree bigot in Manhattan NYC That aside, that IS a real nice mid sized tree. Thank you for upholding Christmas tradition.....but you could have used a Balsam
@thriftedvintagehome4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Cindy. I do believe the tree farm has Balsam trees. Good thought for the next Christmas season.

@Cindy - what a pretentious thing to say. As if people aren’t allowed to have different tastes in Christmas trees. Something tells me you love the smell of your own farts.
