No more war in Europe! My Great Grand Father fought in World War 1. We must stand united! Against any threat for us. Greetings to you all from Austria. Max

Brings me to tears every time. This goes to show that even during times of great peril and bloodshed, light may still shine through even the darkest of clouds.

Those 2 people who put their hands up were very brave

My grandfather was there, with the Canadian 4th Division. Later his life was saved by a German soldier. Grandpa says the fraternization happened all the time, when the officers weren't looking. This is how we stop wars. It's up to the soldiers to say no.

It’s sad how the people who have killed each other could’ve been best friends. But hey, hopefully the killing stopped.

The problem are for every war the politicians and Profit of the people behind on both sides, who must not fight and suffer, and get killed. If will the normal people decide,it would never more happen a war.

These men had to be transferred to another front because they didn't want to kill the people they met. Virtually none of these men were still alive two years later.

War is politicians talking & young men dying

The saddest part of war has to be that most of those doing the fighting and dying are little more than kids barely into their twenties. Such a waste of potential and life.

Merci pour cet extrait de Joyeux Noël. Un très beau film ❤. J'ai le 0:53 plus profond respect pour tous ces hommes qui ont bravé tout les interdits. Une journée pour oublier cette guerre.

This real event goes show that humanity strives for anything other than hatred, I like to think that the soldiers who did this wanted to end the war right there, and if they could’ve, both sides of men would’ve laid down their rifles.
