I love what you said about gifting being a love language. This past year I started sending cards and this year my plan is to give gifts. While bags are nice, there is just a special feeling you get when opening a present. Another to do is combining seasonal wrapping items with all occasion. Excellent idea! I love a downsize and donate! I also enjoy keeping gifting options simple. My go to is brown paper or a brown bag, twine, a tag and something from nature like a dried leaf or flower. The best bit was when you made the box!

Hey you. 6 Children wow-respect! Great job! On Min. 10 I saw my grey metall box😉. I use it for x-mas cookies. So funny🤭. The same box in two continents 😁. Before I go to L. A. In 21 I moved in my house from a 3 room Appartement in a 1 room Appartement. So when I watch your video, all the memory’s come 🆙 how often I say: „good bye“ to things I thought I loved😅. But it feels now (I came back home on june-this year) so so good, with just the things I really love,around me in my tiny home. I like your realistic but also warm way to explain real life! Since my daughter is grown and with no grandchildren, yet anyway, and I don't have as many friends at this stage of life, I really don't give gifts anymore. So I don't have the need for gift wrap storage any longer. This has been great because I always found it difficult to store it. More over, trying to decide what to keep or throw out. I always had small scraps that were basically useless that I would try to save. Now I just buy a bag along with the gift I'm giving. I would love to have had this idea 20 years ago of storing these supplies in a chest.

You are so right! Seasons definitely change! I have eight grandchildren so far, but only a few live close by and I end up giving cash or gift cards and find myself using less and less gift wrap every year. Thanks so much for your comment! 😊

I save all my beautiful ribbons & use year after year. You can do that with high end wired ribbon and never never never use those stick on bows! I go out & find greens off pine trees, pine cones etc. to use on pkgs. & then discard after the season so no storing!
