Hi Cheryl, I always enjoy your youtube videos. For the Christmas wreath machine applique what size material did you use for the backround fabric and for the wreath? Thank you.
@TheSewingRoomChannel Жыл бұрын
Hi Joann. For the pot holder the background fabric was 8" square. You can make the wreath any size you like. Glad you liked the Christmas wreath applique pattern tutorial. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍

When you do a satin stitch on your regular sewing machine do you use regular thread (& if so what weight) or embroidery thread (like what’s used with an embroidery machine)? Nice tutorial & good tips❣️👍
@TheSewingRoomChannel4 жыл бұрын
Hi MGS. I don't recommend cotton thread for machine embroidery. I like using a polyester embroidery thread for doing the satin stitch. The most common thread weight used for embroidery is 40 weight. Most digitizing programs are designed for using 40 weight. Stay safe. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.

Hi Dorothy. The name of the product is EZ Steam Fusible Web Sheets and is made my a company called Pellon. I typically purchase this at Joann Fabrics & Crafts. If you do a quick Google search for this product, you'll find that there are also other online retailers selling this product. If you want to purchase this from Joann's here is the link to the product - www.joann.com/ez-steam/2962462.html.
