I have a question that I would love for someone to answer… I still have silk left over from a previous project. I’ve had it stored in an airtight jar. Is it still safe to use? Would it have spoiled? I made it with my sous vide about two years ago. I also have a lot of untempered cocoa butter left over from when I made that batch of silk. If I can’t use this silk anymore, can I make a new batch of silk with the unused and untempered cocoa butter that I already have? Or do I need to buy a new bag of cocoa butter? Thanks in advance!

if conserved well cocoa butter can last years . Conservation temperature is important . I will suggest to keep it under 20C in an airtight container or vacuumed sealed bag. cocoa butter can range if not well conserved. untempered cocoa butter can be re-temper. you can then store it and make your silk as needed. I hope this help.
