Not Spanish!! He was Portuguese from the town of Cuba, he himself said "Mi pátria" while referring to Portugal. Many more evidences point to that! The DNA alone can not tell the nationality, it cant tell Spanish from Portuguese!!!

well, he was a Jew and Spain didn't exist in that time... you know, nationalism wasn't a thing till the 1850s...

I am not a historian but I know that Columbus and his brothers enslaved people even though the Catholic kings prohibited slavery but it seems that there was a formal defect in the law and they took advantage of it. In fact, two Spaniards were executed by Columbus and his brothers for protesting against the mistreatment. Later this reached the ears of the kings and Columbus and his brothers were dismissed from their positions. Columbus died in poverty. On July 4, 1870, 150 years ago, the Law abolishing slavery was promulgated in Spain. total and without defects in form. In every pot there are always burnt chickpeas, you cannot judge all the Spanish people by what the nobility did. (greetings from Andalusia-Spain).

Columbus was a Palestinian from Palestine. Ask Hamas and PLO for reparations.
