The harder thing's get the more desperate people become, you and I aren't on the bread line yet, but a huge amount of kiwis are already out of options. And that's a hard headspace to live in, I don't care about those committing more crimes in a lifestyle of crime - but my heart breaks for those that will be driven to it. It's like domestic violence going up at Xmas due to financial stress except this isn't a holiday that will pass quickly, it's a global economic crisis which will get exponentially worse before next year is done but likely sooner.
