Consider his role in the movie The Insider or The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, once this guy shows up on camera, the movie's quality and your interest all of a sudden go up. My grandmother was six days older, when Christopher Plummer was born. She always said to me that he, along with Sean Connery, were his favorite actors. Unfortunately she passed away on January 25, 2021. There was something in his voice that made Plummer a gentleman with a theatrical presence at the big screen. The very first films that my grandma introduced me to him when I was a kid were "The Sound of Music" and "Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country" A great actor that he will not be forgotten, because he left an enduring legacy at the screen. Rest in peace, Christopher.
