My friend and her son saw him in a park in Toronto sitting with his young son on a table/ bench. Her son was beside himself with excitement that Superman was just a few feet away. Mr Reeve smiled, got up and headed toward their table. Hi, he said. I’m Chris. And sometimes I’m Superman. I saw you and thought I’d come over and say hi. Her little boy ran over and threw his arms around him and he hugged back. He said I’d better get back over to my son now. Thanks for the hug. Be a good boy, Ok? He shook my friends hand and walked back to their table and soon they got up and left. What a champion. A really nice guy. It was a memory that was kept all through these years.

Christopher Reeve's children are not only beautiful but also as kind in person as they appear in interviews. Alexandra was my brother's classmate at Yale before she went to law school, while he went to medical school. I met her during graduation; she is tall, beautiful, and genuinely lovely. She was a model in her teens when she live in London with her mom but decided to pursue an education instead of modeling. Notice that her brother, Mathew still has a slight British accent because he grew up in England before starting college in NYC.

I think the age difference between the siblings and the English accent coming from Will's brother(although sister doesn't seem to have an English accent)indicating he grew up in Britain with Christopher's 1st wife...probably caused less sibling rivalry through the years. I was impressed with all that she gave to Chris' care and to research efforts for spinal cord injuries, all while keeping everyone together as a family. Equally devastated when she was taken so soon after Chris. I want to watch the documentary, but I think I'll probably weep through the whole thing, for how brief her life was, and what was lost. It's great to see the kids doing so well. I think the older kids' Mom deserves some credit here too. i am sorry for your loss. life definitely is very unfair. my family has dealt with several horrible incidents and deaths in the past 30 years, once they started, they just kept happening, now the latest this past year, untimely deaths and illnesses in young members of our family, i am trying to hang in there, i hope you find some solace and much deserved happiness in the years ahead. Peace to you.

Christopher Reeve's children are truly inspiring because of the love they have for each other. There is respect between them and the importance of sibling love. I hope that one day I can meet them, hug them tightly, and tell them that they've done a great job.❤❤❤

Both sons but especially the younger one look so much like their father. Christopher is still visible through his sons. Love them.

Will looks like his mom overall but has his dad’s height and striking broad shoulders. And his hair. Handsome. The eyes and smile are all mom.

Her immediate reaction to his question. Says everything you need to know. The answer really didn’t require words but I feel she was still being protective. Massive heart obviously x

I’m so glad Dana had a good relationship with Christopher’s children. So sorry for their loss as well as their younger brother. A good stepmother is a rare blessing and a deep void when gone.

I was 13 and living on the East Coast when I saw all the love given to Dana Reeve. What an incredible lady. As a wife and mother at 43 I cant imagine what that is like to have to have to tell your kids that kind of news. Chris recognized a real one when he met Dana.

My own mother died of cancer at 44 & I was 16, so I can sympathize with those kids! Also, a friend's 17 year old son suffered a similar spinal cord injury, leaving him paralyzed for life! He's 57 now!/When I saw the first "Superman", in 1978, I thought it was good, but now realize that it was a "superb" piece of film making & much of that success comes from Christopher Reeves' fantastic interpretation of "Superman"!

Beautiful! I along with my husband and our daughter can relate to this family. I always say when people ask how we do we do it. We accepted our new wonderful life, our spirit never changed its just the physical need. But just as everyone does you will always do your best. ❤ Count the blessings than the unfortunate things that happen.
