Titus, I've watched you since your show was on Fox all those years ago and have even had the pleasure to see you live in Charlotte, NC a few years back. I have thoroughly enjoyed the evolution of your comedy. When George Carlin died in 2008, we lost one of the greatest "philosopher" comics; individuals who take current events and/or societal trends and cause us to think about them through laughter. In one interview he admitted that over his career he learned that allowing himself to be himself was the path to his success and I believe this has been true for you as well. You too are one of the greatest philosopher comics and I look forward to the release of your next show. Best of luck and wishing you continued success.

I think this is my favorite comedy special of Titus's. Great American perspectives, awesome lines like "we need to get along or this shit burns down" and some of the funniest jokes he's ever written, like his 2nd math joke and "disenfranchised". As an essential worker (grocery store) during all of this and having to wear a mask 9 hours a day 5 days a week you along with other great comedians Fluffy, Robin Williams, Brad, Kathleen Madigan to name a few give a great start to my days while I'm stocking shelves before we open, and before I have to deal with rude customers that want to why we have no toilet paper, top ramen, or hand sanitizer. I always love the writing in this special because it directly talks about the hardest issue with American politics. America has some fantastic parts about it, but there is almost nothing in it that is perfect. Screaming about the imperfection does nothing and breaks the country apart, but acknowledging the problems and not being an asshole brings everyone together. Self loathing and pretending there is nothing to do about any of your problems is how you become an asshole and an idiot. He took the time and effort to balance his opinions on everything he talks about, and it shows with the way everything is talked about. At times its easy to miss this sort of conversation so the fact that this is free on the internet is a great showing that the majority of people don't give a shit about the extreme opinions.

I'd like to be optimistic, but after watching things like Jordan Klepper talking to Trump devotees at rallies, it's very hard to not be extremely depressed about a sizeable subset of my country. The thing is saying "agree to disagree", when one person is making claims that are batshit insane and objectively wrong by every measure just so you don't ruffle somebody's feathers is not helpful (this goes for either side of the political spectrum), especially when it concerns things like public health and the environment that effect us all.
