I only checked as I thought he was born in Limerick but he was born in England, he calls himself a plastic paddy often in his shows. From his Wikipedia. Carr was born on 15 September 1972, in Hounslow, England, the second of three sons, born to Patrick James "Jim" Carr (born 1945), an accountant who became the treasurer for computer company Unisys, and Nora Mary (née Lawlor; 19 September 1943 - 7 September 2001).
