"Top 20 Funniest Comedy Albums of 2016" -The Laugh Button
Born With a Defect takes the audience on a wild ride through Titus' personal life, proves why he isn’t qualified to be a father, and why childless couples win. Titus again takes you down some roads that may be unlikely to win him a CNN Heroes' Award, but will always be hilarious. His reasoning as to why owning a Lamborghini is better than having children, along with more of his beloved dysfunctional personal anecdotes, will have you clutching your sides with laughter. This is some of his most surprising material to date, and Christopher Titus again shows in his seventh ninety-minute special why he is one of the best comics working today.

Took my mom to this taping as a morale booster during her chemo during her first bout of cancer Titus’ comedy was one of the things we bonded over and shared. It was our common ground. I was supposed to take her to the show in Brea this past February but she was in the hospital (for something so “hilarious”- I’m being sarcastic). She passed on 3/22 and I’ve been watching your specials every week as a way to remember the laughs we shared. Thank you Titus for sharing you humor and story with the world. 🖤

Show was awesome. But let's be honest, Stacey Keach deserves a ton of credit for making that show (and character) work. If they didn't get Ken Titus right, it would have completely fallen apart, and no one else could have done what Keach did. Like Christopher said: Thank God for Stacey Keach. That said, I agree. I HOPE HIS KIDS SEE THIS COMMENT: I was a bit disturbed that he was talking about his kids and their peculiarities on "tv." But it was funny, so I continued watching. I'm glad I did. He's not just talking about HIS kids, he's talking about ALL kids. And he's not wrong. His musings brought up several memories from my own childhood with my siblings. The things we did. 😳 But it was all AGE APPROPRIATE! We should ALL be allowed this grace period. (But that doesn't mean we pretend it didn't/doesn't happen...) He then starts in on the adults of the world, and the f-d up stuff WE do. He's not wrong there, either. The lesson is: There are some things we CAN change, and some things we CAN'T. The trick is knowing the difference, and pivoting when we need to. Future generations depend on us being ABLE AND WILLING to do this. Thank you, Mr. Titus, for bringing us some truth in such a refreshing way. 🌸

I have two grown children and laughed my ass off through this. Children are very much a love/hate relationship. When mine went off to college, I was listening to other moms crying because their 'baby' was leaving home. I had one foot on their ass yelling 'get out and have a life!'. My dad once said the brain disconnects when a kid turns about 13 and doesn't re-connect until about 23. He was right.

Mr.Titus, I havent shared this with anyone else but my son, til now... But hadnt heard of Robin Williams' passing until standing in a grocery store checkout line and happened to glance around at an article on the front of a magazine of the event. I had never realized the size of space some one I' d never even met could have in my heart. I grew up with him as a toddler watching Happy Days & fallowed his comedy for all these yrs. He was a master at his craft. The moment I saw that article I lost it. I was holding back tears so not to embarris myself or the clerk but when got in my car...took a moment to pause & compose myself. I uncontrollably had flashbacks of growing up with friends & family laughing with him at different times in life wich brought a flood of old friend memories along. This is so corny but will say it anyway, the American Pie song explaining the day the music died...felt like a parallel to this subject. I am not sure if you in the work you do, realize how cherished you actually become. Your shows may be your career & you are great at it, but on the otherside, you are taking space in your fans lives & brightening days for millions. Its more than just a job... Thank you for your dedication & what you have given to your fans and others in some tough times. We still dont have all the answers but at least we can laugh about it. 😂🇺🇲

His brother lighting the planter reminded me of a similar thing that happened at a party in high school. We went to build a bonfire. My friend douses the pile with a few gallons of gasoline. He then walks away to let it soak in and flash off for a minute or two before lighting it. A girl walks up right after he walks away, leans her face directly over the pile, pulls out a lighter and WHOOSH. Same effect. No bangs, no eyebrows, insta-tan.

Mr. Titus, thank you so, so, so, so much for all the amazing uploads since the pandemic started. I’ve always regarded you as one of the funniest people ever to walk the planet. “Titus” was one of the funniest shows I’ve ever seen. That program offered as many laughs per minute as any other top sitcom - right up there with Seinfeld and Frasier. I think mostly because it was so damned relatable, as most of us come from fucked up families. And it seemed to seek out to make “crazy” seem normal, and a topic that we could talk and joke about. And your stand up is second to none. It’s a mystery to me how you didn’t have even MORE mainstream success. You’re easily the most under appreciated comedian I can think of. Love from 🇨🇦 Xoxo

I have a similar relationship with my ex, but, luckily I have no kids with her. My "chapel" story is, when we got married, her sister's husband's family were these freakishly Giant German people from Brooklyn. My Ex loved her sister but HATED her husband's family, & after dating for a few years I understood why (those are some Priceless stories too but I don't wanna sidetrack). When they opened the tiny chapel up for guests, this family of Giant Germans made a beeline for the front row, bowling my poor cancer stricken frail tiny mother over in the process, sat all in a row (mom, 2 brothers, sister) in these tiny little wood folding chairs. My parents, my ex's parents, other close friends & relatives had been crowded out - the front row was Filled Up. So, OK the ceremony starts, my wife makes her entry, sees the seating situation, I can see the look of cold hard steel death on her face, I try to shrug, roll my eyes "honey it's not my fault", the ceremony proceeds, we had a bunch of love poems to read to each other (yes I fell for that kind of sappy crap, hey, I was in my 20's), well, in the middle of me reading the longest poem, the Giant German mother, who was in her 70's & a little Daft, to say the least, had one of those really dirt cheap disposable cameras (this was 1994), it got to the end of the roll & started rewinding automatically, she was all flummoxed, cupping this chattering buzzing device in her hands perplex-ed-ly, & mind you, she was front row center, right in front of me, & nothing she could do would stop it from rewinding. Well, of course, this was literally the funniest, most inappropriate thing that had happened to me in a long long time, so of course I was gonna respond in the most inappropriate way - by laughing hysterically & uncontrollably for many many minutes, completely & utterly stopping the ceremony, while everyone waited for me to regain my composure, which of course every time I tried made me laugh even harder, to the point I was literally dizzy & ready to pass out. This was all captured on video, & made the "highlight reel" of the wedding VHS tape, unfortunately, my ex destroyed the tape when we split.
