One of the best interviews with Christopher Watkin I've watched on youtube so far. I'm so grateful that I came across this video clip. Especially the last segment of the interview really wraps it up in an orthodox way!

To "run" a biblically disciplined home church locally, which is the primary job for a pastor like me, neuturality is critically important to keep the Gospel & the biblical church discipline for the church that belongs to Christ. To do so, I have to be "local" and biblically & faithfully care the local flocks whom belong to our Lord. So, call me what you must, but I would rather be neutural on all social matters and be local so that I may be faithful in the presence of our Lord.

Neutrality is a myth. And pietism is often just a cover for cowardice. The bible pertains to all of life, not just what we do at home, at church, or in our heart. If you lead your congregation to believe that it does not speak to 'social issues' when it clearly does you make yourself an accessory to evil. As one who teaches, you subject yourself to greater judgement from God who will hold you accountable for those under your care. Fear God not man.

Critical Theory you don't like. Add an "R" making CRT still bad but add a "T" for Critical Text theory developed in Germany in the late 18th century E.G. Johann Jakob Griesbach (4 January 1745 - 24 March 1812) and we swallow it whole. Pax
