Elexus Whitti so true she sings like she is a angel from heaven blessing us with Yahweh's beautiful voice. She is from the same city as me in NJ which is East Orange. The elementary school she attended as a kid is named after her. My brother lived 1 minute away from where she lived in East Orange as a kid. My principle from my elementary school told us she knew Whitney was going to be a star when she heard her sing at Christmas parties. She is the greatest female singer in history.

Tears were rolling down my cheeks when she hit that chorus at 1:00 in that 2018 documentary. She had the voice and the beauty of an angel, an illuminating diamond, this world wasn't worthy of her talent. She's a legend, the only one who could hold her own and proved worthy of the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin.(RIP) She was the princess of Gospel for all black people all over the world. We took her for granted and we let her down when she needed us the most, now we weep about her heartwrenching loss. May she rest In Peace, Mrs Whitney Houston.

@@gphillimo An import CD is a specific release of an album/single that was released with different songs/remixes in various territories and collectors often buy them from these territories to add them to their collection, so they import them, typically via online stores such as Discogs and Amazon. I often peruse these websites for rare and unique remixes of songs that weren't released here where I live (Norway) or remixes/versions that aren't available on digital streaming platforms.

Critics used to say the original version of this song and How Will I Know were bland pop songs in comparison to her ballads but these a capella recordings really show she was injecting a lot of soul and emotion into the lyrics when she sang them as well.
@drjeffamatrixx6 жыл бұрын
Bland pop songs my ass, LOL. These so-called critics should write a bland pop tune like this one, but at least start learning basic music theory. Basically all Whitney's songs are masterpieces in terms of composing, arranging, sound design, etc, no matter what genre/style they are...
@danielstevens5299 Жыл бұрын
I feel like the songs are overproduced and add too much noise around her voice, but it the 80s that was necessary to become a hit. It's not hard to realize how phenomenal her vo8ce is, but it does require the listener to pay a little more attention. In another era, everything would be built around her voice, like with Adelle.
