this is the best video explaining the qube 500. not like those lazy reviewers who dont understand the use of the side bracket and nag about the airflow.... well dong

I did an inverse, basically upside down build with the glass panel and components visible on the opposite side of this case. Being able to do this kind of thing is a big advantage of this case.

Hi Christopher, love your builds. Can I ask you to think about telling viewers how much you builds are please. This will help future builders look at builds they can afford.

This is such a helpful video. Thank you. It eased my first ever PC build in the Qube 500. I installed a 4070TI which doesn't stretch out under the PSU so had room to build in a fan at the front. Thanks again for what you do.

Thank you for the video where you did a build in a Meshify 2 Compact. It convinced me to get it as the second one I've built in my life. Went from a 2500K, yea, to 14600K.

I always love when you review something from Cooler Master. The automatic closed captioning renders it as "Killer Master." Which sounds pretty...well...killer. And for this particular video, very Halloween appropriate.

I wanted to add that x8 lanes is fine for your gpu, any gpu. It doesn’t even saturate 8 lanes with a 4090. If you look at gpu-z you will be able to see the lanes your gpu has after the m.2 is installed.

That 4080 fitting in that is impressive. Chris if could please do a video about that 14900k. How was the temps and what coolers would you recommend for the 14900k.

This board actually has 20 cpu lanes so if you put a gen 4 m.2 in the top slot you will keep the gpu at x16 and the dedicated 4 lanes will be used. Only if you use a gen 5 m.2 in slot 1 will it use 5 lanes dropping your gpu to x8.

Surprised to see this so detailed video. I wonder how it would be if I build the case first. Every video for this QUBE 500 case builds the motherboard first, which is a good way when we start from all new components... but it's not a case for users who is just changing their cases only like me. As you said it will take more time than other PC cases, Im afraid spending too much time at once.

I associate "fully modular" with a degree of flexibility not really apparent in this build. It appeared you were constrained to a single arrangement, in the end. A larger model, perhaps...? Anyway, another great instructional video, typical of this channel. Thank you.

Even if you put a 4th gen in the 5th gen compatible socket we will lose lanes? Is that just on this board or all boards like the Maximus dark hero. Im seeing different opinions from different youtubers on this.

The radiator fans should be reversed to intake, it would probally make a sizable difference on the CPU temperatures.

Hey Chris, do you think the same build would have worked out well with a 7800X3D instead?

Question - could you not just draw air in from the top through the AIO and out the back?

Can i add the fans on the bottom and expect the whole airflow to be a little bit better since i don’t wanna lose the aesthetic?

Hi, i have a question. If I have an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 and an ASUS Motherboard PRIME B450M-A/CSM, will this be compatible for the IO of the case? the USB C function?

Would be a nice case with two steel side panels. A swapable glass panel to the back makes no sense to me.

Necessary to build it like this or can i just assembe the case first, then (as usual) after that put the parts in it? I didnt see any video int he internet where ppl build the case separately.

is it a good case for a amd 7950x3d and a geforce 4080 and two 3,5" hard drive and 2 2,5" ssd?

Yes you can install 3 ssd of 2.5 inch at the back panel and 3 hdd of 3.5inch in lower bay or door grill.

I suppose that's the point isn't it? If you're shelling out for i9 and 4080 you aren't going to want to skimp 80 quid on the case are you?
