The one life lesson you can take away from this sitcom but can never deny is its your choice how to handle things in life. Another thing you can take away is a point Titus makes in his Normal Rockwell Is Bleeding special, when the screwed up people see the sh!t about to hit the fan, you step to the side of the fan and laugh as the normal people get splattered by the fan.

Unless your point is that because the divorce rate is high, him marrying a manipulative and unfaithful bitch is not at all indicative of underlying issues. I quote that same special "I'm behind the fan but the booty is good." Screwed up people know when shit's about to hit the fan because screwed up people are usually the reason shit's about to hit the fan. Really, just about every potential lesson in this show is twisted up by the fact that Titus wrote it when he was a lot less self-aware. You'll notice as time goes on, his specials focus less on stories about his past and more on how its affected him going forward.

Does anyone see the difference between Ken Titus #2 and #3 other than the shirt at 7:31? I'm thinking maybe a better way to teach Dave is baby steps.
