When I was younger, growing up stuck in my wildly dysfunctional household, Titus made me feel like it was gonna be okay. That I might be screwed up by all the things I’ve dealt with, but because of all that, I can handle a lot more than the average person. He’s also taught me to embrace my failures and pick myself back up, and helped me feel like I wasn’t alone with all the things I wound up thinking about because of all shit going on around me. Like “am I the crazy one?” I’m twenty-three years old now, but I was a lot younger when I first found clips of his shows pirated on KZbin, and I ate them up every day, finding ways to laugh at my pain. I’m a fan of a lot of comedians, and regularly look for new shows to watch, but I’ve always proudly been able to say that Christopher Titus is my favourite. For reference, I’m a 100 pounds-soaking-wet petite white girl whose family is steeped in mental illness that starts with severe bipolar disorder and caps out with house fires and casual confessions of homicidal intent. I’m not exactly crystal clear of issues myself, but I didn’t know how to look at myself as anything other than broken until I found Titus’ stories. His line of “we the people find the defendant” has always allowed me to explain my mom’s deal without bringing down the mood. His healing through laughter and making people laugh has brought me validation I didn’t know I needed, because I’m not alone, and I know that as long as I get people who love me in my life I know I can live in spite of all the crazy crap I’ve dealt with and probably have yet to see approach the fan. I recently introduced Titus to my girlfriend’s mother, a black woman from Detroit in her 50s, and she cannot WAIT for his new special to air in full. Me and her both. Sorry for over-sharing, but I just wanted to say thanks, because I’d be paying a lot more for therapy if it weren’t for these shows.

A distant relative who lived in Idaho and used to be a horseback hunting guide..married more than once, loved women...last one was messed. He awoke to her holding a gun. She shot him twice in the gut. He survived to tell the tale. The part of his burn being treated by a stiff brush after he got pain meds. My six yr old was burned in a restaurant waitress accident. They started in on my son’s burn with that brush and no pain meds. The nurse cried and fled the room. I dressed the wound ..20% of his body, and I took car of it myself. A warm shower and I rolled off the dead skin with a washcloth. I met one person who had no injuries from fam or life. I got beaten nearly every day. No drinking involved. All I could thinks was "dude it sounds like you're still sitting behind the fan", and soon after that I found out that the two of them were no longer married.

No. Because only Wussies go to therapy. I'm half Irish and Freud was right about us. Plus a dysfunctional existence from birth to now is all my siblings and I knew. So it's true nothing much fazed us. I grew up mostly about ten miles from Titus . When he came to Missoula 3 years ago ( almost ) We were front row . And him and I had a little back and forth through the show. All respectful I did not interrupt him. He just started conversing with me. At the end of show he called me up to the stage to shake my hand. Then right after in the lobby we talked for about 15 minutes or so being used to live close by. Well after that about 6 weeks later I dated a new woman . She was good but abusive. Around Christmas time I emailed him about The Last Noelle because It was a lot of the same. He took the time and gave me advice over about a 2 week period. It really helped I was being stubborn because I loved her. But I finally saw his point that it would never change. Granted the way he described Noelle ? She was a lot worse. Mine only hit me 3 or 4 maybe 5 times at most. And onetime cops did get involved because someone called them on her. But it took me 2 weeks, but since the last time we messaged I never took her or tried to get her back.Thank's Christopher Titus

The special that introduced me to probably the best comedian of all time, so glad we get to experience all this with you Titus. I just hope we'll get another amazing series from you that allows us to continue following your escapades as a continuation from your last series.

Mr. Titus...you really are AWESOME! I Wish more celeraties would upload their(rare) stuff for free for everybody. But being a celebratie off course does not mean that they are on your mental level. You do have it! Greeting from Netherland

Can we all just stop for a moment to appreciate that this is a masterclass of stand up writing? Not a wasted word, everything is pertinent to leading to a punchline that lands. There are hard working talented standups out there that make insane money that will never write a show as strong as this.

THIS SHOW saved me totally when it first came out. I had just been diagnosed with complex PTSD due to 20 years of my family... HEaring that being dysfunctional = normal, and laughter? Thank you, Christopher Titus.

Titus I wanted to let you know you were my #1 artist on Spotify this year. I work in fiber optics and while I’m staying in one place for hours I would listen to your specials or watch the episodes of the tv show. Thanks for the laughs man.

Hey, Titus man! I gotta say you are my #1 living stand up comedian! And the fact that you are putting all your DVD properties up for free for the public to watch...? Makes you a superhero in my book. You don't care that this is costing you money. You just want to make sure that through all the bullshit, people can still have the opportunity to just sit down and have a laugh!
