He "searched" for the bullets fired at him to block them. Then minutes later, he used this same chain to "search" for a liar. It's pretty versatile just by using the keyword "search".

He probably asked for a lot more this time to account for it. One on one, the Zoldick are definitely stronger than an average Spider. And there are two Zoldick this time. At this exact point, we don't know how they will fare against the chief or the top fighters of the Troupe.

I would consider it Seinen. Shounen on this age is basically "I WILL PUNCH YOU USING MY FRIENDSHIP POWER" and that's it. I don't watch shounen, too forced, I would rather watch Super Sentai.

Is funny because everyone is right, Hunter x Hunter was a Shonen, and that's why the manga it was in the weekly Shonen Jump. But a few years ago, it was agreed to be released in other magazine for various reasons. But if you are catch up with the manga, you will know is the Shonen that evolved into a Seinen, which for me is what a Shonen (that las this long) should aim, because at some point your readers aren't teenagers anymore. Also Togashi released new pages of chapters in his Twitter. I hope they are coming soon.

The Requiem is one of the greatest scenes in anime history. Chrollo is an insane character, very insane and well written and we haven't seen much of him in this arc too. If the manga will be animated someday, people will probably put him in top 10 antag oat. Absolutely love him as a character

well Killua's dad already killed one phantom troupe members if you remember Killua talking about it while they were spying Machi and Nobunaga. He just said the job wasn't worth the pay, which means if someone pays him more he's gonna take the job :D Also he said to his kids to stay away from the troupe, cause he knows they are powerful, but he only said it to the kids, doesn't apply to him or gramps.

Hunter x Hunter surprises when it comes to gruesome scenes because of how deliver the scenes matter of factly. Like the guy being eaten by an indoor fish alive wasn't screaming. The casual conversation during these scenes spoke louder than any scream can and so we feel it more. Probably anyways haha.

Generally speaking, those no name assassins are probably strong in their own right, however just like the shadow beasts, the troupe (or rather Chrollo) is above them. Chrollo is honestly one of the top nen users in the story, so those guys losing is not surprising.

So the Phantom Troupe are A rank bounties, in most Japanese media S (or SS/SSS) are the rarest/strongest rank. We don't actually know if that holds true in HxH (sort of... can talk more on it later I suppose). So using that the PT are... either some of the most dangerous out there or around an 80% on a test sort of thing. I can't really get into things here without spoilers so I'll just leave it at: They're strong but this is a shonen anime and we're still pretty early in the show/manga itself.

13:55 I find this part of Neon a bit contradictory to everything else we know about her so far. She seems to genuinely care about people and created (mostly unconsciously) her Nen ability to help people... ... but she likes collecting human body parts and was more annoyed that an auction got cancelled than the lives of her close entourage. For someone who's so caring about people that she created a helpful Nen ability that explicitly excludes herself, she can be pretty ruthless and uncaring.

@@snowman9631 I don't want to spoil too much, but that will be a special case. She won't cry over "people", but over one specific person. She still won't care about all the people that have died or will die in this arc except for a single one. For a very specific reason that I'd like not to be expanded here. (Please don't add spoilers.) I still find it contradictory that her Nen, which is supposed to reflect her very identity, is entirely a manifestation of "helping others", including in the details of who it's for and how she wants it to help... while her behavior is entirely uncaring... except for basically two individuals - maybe a few more - but most definitely not people in general. I understand that she lives in a Mafia-type environment, but she's the one who chooses to collect body parts as a hobby. Body parts of people who, for a large part, are not involved in the world of crime and violence. I'm not saying she's evil. Just uncaring, which is enough to contradict the very essence of her ability.

Chrollo is a god teir supervillan, and where he is a terrible person in general. He's actually superchill. Just a guy that was handed a shit deck and made the best of it. Uvo was one of his childhood friends which is why his death hit chrollo hard. Also the fortune suggests the spider will lose half it's limbs and Chrollo will go east looking for new members.

that is because unlike aot, Hunter takes a very by standers view and created a world where most appreared on screen is not that weak mantally or physically. they are not easily abused and most is fair game. even someone is mistreated and is a very adult society dispite the main charactor is so young. the level of selfishness and the ability to take care of themselves surpass anyone in AOT. So even watch some scary scenes you do not feel too attached unless you inmagine being done to yourself

don't get me wrong, HXH does a fantastic job characterizing the Spiders, but i will never feel bad for them dying; why? because of what they did to Kurapika's people, the Kurta. Remember, their eyes only turn scarlet when experiencing intense emotion, usually anger; this means the the phantom troupe had get them angry before killing them and I believe the way they did that was torturing their loved ones (i.e. their wives, kids, parents) before killing them and then taking their eyes; and why was this done? to quote Uvo "because the boss liked their eyes". And then imagine being Kurapika coming home and seeing everyone dead, corpses scattered everywhere and all of their eyes hollowed out, including kids (because remember, the troupe killed EVERYONE in the clan). So they get no sympathy from me, and in fact deserve to be put through Nazarick's baptism for eternity.
